«Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության քաղաքական խորհրդի անդամ Դավիթ Մանուկյանը բաց նամակ է գրել միջազգային հանրությանը․

«2020 թվականին, Ադրբեջանը սկսեց լայնածավալ ռազմական հարձակում Արցախի Հանրապետության դեմ։ Օգտվելով միջազգային հանրության լռությունից ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերը օկուպացրեցին ողջ Արցախը, իսկ բնակչությանը ենթարկելով անմարդկային հալածանքների ամբողջությամբ վտարեցին իրենց հայրենիքից։ Սա Ցեղասպանություն էր 21-րդ դարում, ողջ մարդկության աչքի առջև։

Բազմաթիվ հայորդիներ լծվեցին իրենց հայրենիքի և ժողովրդի պաշտպանության սուրբ գործին, ինչը յուրաքանչյուր ազգի բնական և անխախտելի՝ ոչ միայն իրավունքն է, այլ նաև պարտականությունը։ Նրանցից շատերը զոհվեցին, շատերը հաշմանդամ դարձան, շատերը գերեվարվեցին, իսկ ոմանք մինչև այսօր, գտնվում են գերության մեջ Ադրբեջանի բանտերում, ենթարկվելով անմարդկային կտտանքների։

Այսօր, ադրբեջանական իշխանությունները փորձում են կեղծ և շինծու մեղադրանքներով դատապարտել նրանց ցմահ ազատազրկման, նպատակ ունենալով սպանել նրանց Բաքվի բանտերում և նրանք դա կանեն, եթե քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհը շարունակի լռել։

Հասկանալու համար, թե որքան կեղծ են ադրբեջանական մեղադրանքները, հերիք է միայն նայել, թե ինչի մեջ են նրանք մեղադրում գերեվարված Ռուբեն Վարդանյանին։ Ռուբենը հայտնի է ողջ աշխարհում, որպես մարդ ով օգնության ձեռք է մեկնել աշխարհի տարբեր ծայրերում օգնության կարիք ունեցողներին։ Նրա հիմնադրած միայն «Ավրորա» մարդասիրական նախաձեռնությունը, անգնահատելի դեր ու նշանակություն ունի աշխարհում տեղի ունեցող աղետների և ոճրագործությունների դեմ պայքարում։ Անգամ հիմա, երբ նա գտնվում է գերության մեջ, նրա հիմնադրած գործերը շարունակում են օգտակար լինել ծանր իրավիճակներում հայտնված հազարավոր մարդկանց։ Նրա միակ «հանցագործությունը» նա է, որ ծանր ժամանակ եկել ու կանգնել է իր ազգի կողքին՝ փորձելով միասին ապրելու եզրեր գտնել, թշնամաբար տրամադրված հարևանի հետ։

Երկակի ստանդարտներով առաջնորդվող աշխարհը, եթե վերջնականապես չի կորցրել իր մարդկային արժեքները՝ չպետք է լռի։ Բաքվում գտնվող հայ գերիների տառապանքները միջազգային հանրության խղճին են»:
