«Շատ կանայք Հայաստանում ապրում են միայն երեխա ունենալու և մեծացնելու համար, և իրենց կյանքի միակ իմաստը դա է: Դա շատ լավ է, եթե այդ մարդիկ իրենց երջանիկ են զգում, ոչ մի քննադատողական բան իրենց հասցեին չեմ ուզում ասել:
Բայց կան շատ կանայք, ինչպես օրինակ՝ ես, ովքեր միայն երեխա ունենալու համար չեն ապրում և ունեն շատ ուրիշ կյանքի իմաստներ:
Ես ինքս ինձ շատ այլ տեղեր համարում եմ կայացած և ունեմ շատ հետաքրքրություններ: Երեխա ունենալը կյանքի մի մասն է, շատ կարևոր, սիրուն ու երջանկացնող: Երբ երեխա ես ունենում, պետք է ինչ-որ ժամանակաշրջան շատ բաներ զոհաբերես հանուն դրա ու այդ զոհաբերությունը շատերի համար բավականին դժվար է: Եվ դա չի արժեզրկում մեզ:
Ու այն, որ մենք կարող ենք շատ ծանր տանել այդ զոհաբերությունը, դա չի նշանակում, որ ես իմ բալիկին ավելի քիչ եմ սիրում:
