Ֆրանսիան դիվանագետների խումբ կուղարկի Սիրիա

Ֆրանսիան երեքշաբթի դիվանագետների թիմ կուղարկի Սիրիա՝ գնահատելու համար քաղաքական և անվտանգության իրավիճակը, հայտնել են Ֆրանսիայի ԱԳՆ-ից։
ԵՄ կառավարությունների մեծ մասը ողջունել է Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադի տապալումը, սակայն քննարկում է համագործակցությունը նրան տապալած ապստամբների, դրանց թվում՝ իսլամիստական «Հայաթ Թահրիր ալ-Շամ» խմբավորման հետ, որը ԵՄ-ի կողմից ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն է ճանաչվել:
2012 թվականին Ասադի հետ հարաբերությունները խզելուց հետո Ֆրանսիան չի ձգտել կարգավորել հարաբերությունները սիրիական կառավարության հետ և ընդհանուր առմամբ աջակցել է վտարանդի աշխարհիկ ընդդիմությանը և Սիրիայի հյուսիս-արևելքում գտնվող քրդական ուժերին: Ֆրանսիացի պաշտոնյաները հանդիպել են նման խմբերի ներկայացուցիչների հետ, և Փարիզըն հայտարարել է, որ Սիրիայի քաղաքական անցումը պետք է լինի վստահելի և ներառական՝ ՄԱԿ-ի սահմանած շրջանակում:
Որոշ դիվանագետներ պնդում են, որ Ֆրանսիայի հարաբերությունները սիրիական նոր իշխանությունների հետ կարող են բարելավվել, քանի որ Բաշար Ասադի օրոք երբեք չի ձգտել հարաբերությունների կարգավորման:
