Իրանի ազգային արժույթի՝ ռիալի փոխարժեքն ԱՄՆ դոլարի նկատմամբ նվազել է 2%-ով՝ հասնելով պատմական նոր նվազագույնին՝ 1 դոլարի դիմաց 756,000 ռիալ, հայտնում է Reuters-ը:

Իրանական արժույթը սկսել է ակտիվորեն էժանանալ դեռևս նոյեմբերին՝ ԱՄՆ ընտրություններում Դոնալդ Թրամփի հաղթանակից հետո: Վերջինս խոստանում է «առավելագույն ճնշում» գործադրել Իրանի վրա։ Իսկ անցյալ ուրբաթ The Wall Street Journal-ը, հղում անելով աղբյուրներին, հայտնել էր, որ Թրամփի խորհրդականները նրան առաջարկել են Իրանին զսպելու ծրագիր, որը ներառում է իսրայելական օդուժի կողմից երկրի միջուկային օբյեկտներին հարվածներ հասցնելը: Որպես այս ծրագրի մաս՝ Միացյալ Նահանգները պետք է Իսրայելին փոխանցի «ժամանակակից զենքեր», որոնք կարող են շարքից հանել իրանական միջուկային օբյեկտները։

Բացի այդ, նոյեմբերի վերջին ՄԱԿ-ի Ատոմային էներգիայի միջազգային գործակալությունը (ՄԱԳԱՏԷ) բանաձև է ընդունել, որով կոչ է անում Իրանին երկխոսություն հաստատել իր հետ երկրի միջուկային ծրագրի շուրջ։ Հակառակ դեպքում Իրանի նկատմամբ կարող են կիրառվել նոր միջազգային պատժամիջոցներ։

Իրանի վերաբերյալ նման հռետորաբանությունը զգալիորեն մեծացրել է ներդրողների նյարդայնությունը արտարժույթի շուկայում, ինչը հանգեցրել է իրանական արժույթի ռեկորդային արժեզրկմանը։

Reuters-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ երկրի քաղաքացիները ճնշում են գործադրում նաև ռիալի փոխարժեքի վրա՝ նրանք գնում են դոլար և այլ արտարժույթներ, ինչպես նաև ոսկի և կրիպտոարժույթ՝ իրենց միջոցները պաշտպանելու գնաճից, որն այս տարի Իրանում գերազանցել է 30%-ը:
