ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Մարկ Ռյուտեն անվտանգության իրավիճակն անվանել է վատթարագույնն իր ողջ կյանքի ընթացքում, հաղորդում է BBC-ն։
Ըստ Ռյուտեի, Ռուսաստանը «պատրաստվում է երկարաժամկետ դիմակայման Ուկրաինայի և մեզ հետ», իսկ Արևմուտքը պատրաստ չէ նրան, ինչ կլինի չորսից հինգ տարի հետո, քանի որ Ռուսաստանն ավելացնում է զենքը և «սովորում մարտի դաշտում»:
Պաշտպանական ծախսերը 2025 թվականին կարող են կազմել Ռուսաստանի պետական բյուջեի մեկ երրորդը, ինչը ռեկորդային ցուցանիշ է սառը պատերազմից ի վեր: Չինաստանը նույնպես հետ չի մնում, նշել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը. եթե 2020 թվականին նա ուներ 200 միջուկային մարտագլխիկ, ապա մինչև 2030 թվականը, ակնկալվում է, որ կունենա 1000-ից ավելի։ Չինաստանի ներդրումները տիեզերական տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտում աճում են հսկայական տեմպերով, իսկ սպառազինությունների բարձր տեխնոլոգիական համակարգերը, ըստ Ռյուտեի, Չինաստանն ԱՄՆ-ից հինգից վեց անգամ ավելի արագ է ձեռքբերում։
«Ռուսաստանը, Չինաստանը, ինչպես նաև Հյուսիսային Կորեան և Իրանը ակտիվորեն փորձում են թուլացնել Հյուսիսային Ամերիկան և Եվրոպան։ Նրանք փորձում են խաթարել մեր ազատությունը։ Նրանք ցանկանում են վերափոխել աշխարհակարգը»,- կարծում է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը։ Ըստ նրա, Ռուսաստանի զենքի գործարաններն աշխատում են շուրջօրյա ռեժիմով։
«Ռուսաստանն ու Չինաստանը շտապում են առաջ։ Մենք վտանգված ենք հետ մնալու: Սա շատ վտանգավոր է։ Բայց սրանից կարելի է խուսափել: Եթե մենք հզորացնենք մեր արդյունաբերությունը, կարող ենք առաջ անցնել մեր մրցակիցներից»,- կոչ է արել Ռյուտեն:
Նա հիշեցրել է, որ սառը պատերազմի տարիներին եվրոպական երկրները պաշտպանության վրա ծախսում էին ՀՆԱ-ի ավելի քան 3%-ը, իսկ այժմ 2%-ն արդեն բավարար չէ, չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ որոշ երկրներ դեռ 2%-ից պակաս են ծախսում։
