Ինչպես արդեն անդրադարձել էինք  ԱՄՆ-ի Dolby թատրոնում տեղի էր ունեցել Հայկական երաժշտական մրցանակաբաշխությունը, որին մասնակցել էին հայտնի արտիսներ թե՛ Հայաստանից, թե՛ Միացյալ նահանգներից։

Երգչուհի Շպռոտն, ով ապրում է ԱՄՆ-ում, համերգին ներկա չէր, ինչը չի վրիպել երգչուհու ինստագրամյան հետևորդների աչքից:

Շպռոտը անդրադարձել է հարցին ու պատասխանել հետևորդներին, թե ինչու ներկա չի եղել մրցանակաբաշխությանը:

«Հետևորդներիցս շատերը տխրել ու զարմացել էին:

Ես ինքս չգիտեմ, թե ինչու չէին հրավիրել, բայց ունեմ ենթադրություններ: Երբ արտիստին չեղարկում են հեռուստատեսությունից, ռադիոյից, այսպես ասած՝ «cancel culture» են անում, ԱՄՆ-ում դա անում են այն արտիստների հետ, որոնք բռնաբարության հոդվածի համար են մեղադրվում, կամ ովքեր իրենց խելոք չեն պահում:

Մեր հայկական իրականության մեջ, պարզվում է, այլ բանի համար են չեղարկում:

Համերգի կազմակերպիչներից շատերին ճանաչում եմ, նրանք արտիստներ են, ում ես համարում էի ընկերներ, ովքեր ինձ տեսնելուց գրկախառնվում են, իմ դեմքին ժպտում են, բայց ինչ-որ խնդիր ունեն: Միգուցե, որ ես հավատացյալ եմ դարձել, դա է պատճառը:

Համերգի կազմակերպիչների մեծ մասը գեյեր են, միգուցե դա է պատճառը, որովհետև այսօր գեյերն ինձ հետ խնդիր ունեն: Դրանք ուղղակի ենթադրություններ են, չեմ ուզում հավատալ, որ դա է պատճառը, բայց կարծում եմ, որ ոչ թե ժողովուրդը չի ցանկացել ինձ տեսնել, այլ իմ գեյ կոլեգաները: Ինձ «cancel culture» ասվածն անում են կոլեգաներս:

Բայց այսօր կա ինտերնետ, նրանք որքան էլ փորձեն ինձ չեղարկել, մենք կարող ենք շփվել օնլայն: Ինձ համար ամենակարևորը, որ իմ հանդիսատեսն ինձ չչեղարկի»,- ինստագրամի իր էջում անկեղծացել է Շպռոտը:
