Երեկ Իրանի արտգործնախարարը հայտարարեց,որ իրենք ամեն ինչ գիտեին, իսկ Հայաստանում Իրանի դեսպանը  շտապեց հանգստացնել, որ եթե Հայաստանի վրա հարձակում լինի, իրենք կգան օգնության: Այս մասին NEWS.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ նախկին վարչապետ Հրանտ Բագրատյանը:

«Իրենք օգնության չեն  գա, եթե գան էլ Փաշինյանը չի թողնի: Խոսքը այսպես կոչված Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի մասին է, այդ գաղափարը Փաշինյանինն է իմ խորին համոզմամբ: Այսինքն Փաշինյանը ասել է, որ մենք մեր թուրք-ադրբեջանական եղբայրների հետ որոշել ենք այստեղ կիսել, նա նաեւ բանակցում է, որ ադրբեջանցիները այստեղ ապրեն, հայերի գնալու մասին խոսք չկա իհարկե, այնպես որ ի դմես հայկական իշխանությունների, մենք տեսնում ենք թուրքական վասալների, դա ակնհայտ է: Այսինքն եթե Իրանը կարող էր չեզոքացնել ինչ-որ վտանգ, իմացեք, եթե այսօրվա իշխանությունը մնաց, թույլ չի տալու, որ Իրանը միջամտի»,- ասաց նա:

Բագրատյանը նշում է,որ ինքը չի կարծում, որ ադրբեջանցիները միայն Սյունիքի վրա են այսօր կենտրոնացել, Ալիեւի նարրատիվը փոխվել է այսպես կոչված Արեւմտյան Ադրբեջանն է, այսինքն Հայաստանի ներկայիս տարածքը:

«Այս  2 մլն 800 հազարը պետք է ընտրի ներկայացուցիչներ,որոնք խոսեն Արեւմտյան Ադրբեջանի համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ եւ որոշի՝ նրանցից քանիսը գան, որ գյուղը, քաղաքը գան: Ինքը չի ասում՝ ձեզ պիտի գրավեմ, ասում է՝ գալու եմ այդտեղ ապրեմ, իսկ Հայաստանի իշխանությունը կողմ է դրան»,- ասաց Բագրատյանը:
