Ես կարող էի չասել, որ ներել եմ Փաշինյանին, կարող էի իմ մտքում պահել, բայց ես հատուկ եմ ասել: Այս մասին Աժ-ում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց արդեն անկախ պատգամավոր Գեղամ Նազարյանը:

Նա շեշտեց, որ ներելը քրիստոնեական հասկացողութուն է, և երբ ինքն ասում է՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին ներել է, դա չի նշանակում որ ասում է նա ճիշտ էր, կամ որ չպետք է պատասխան տա որոշումների համար, որոնք հանգեցրել են ողբերգությունների, արհավիրքի:

Հարցին՝ Դուք Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՞ն եք մեղադրում այդ ամենում, նա ասաց՝ ոչ միայն նրան:

Իսկ թե ում է բացի Փաշինյանից համարում պատասխանատու, նա արձագանքեց. «Այդ մասին ես կխոսեմ հետո, ունեմ այդ հարցի պատասխանը,  բայց այսօր անիմաստ է դրա մասին խոսել, կցավացնեմ ծնողներին: Ես այդ մասին ասելու եմ, երբ զգամ իմ ասելը այս երկրին մեկ գրամ օգուտ կտա:

Հիմա եթե ասեմ կարժանանա կեղծ մանիպուլիացիաների, սխալ մեկնաբանությունների, իսկ ես մենակ եմ, ես դա ասելու եմ մեկ անգամ՝ այն պահին, երբ զգամ դա մեր ազգի ու պետության համար ճիշտ է»:

Նա ասաց, թե հեշտ է ասել՝ միակ մեղավորը Նիկոլն է ու անցնել, գնալ:

«Մեր գրականությունը, մեր պատմագիտությունը բերել է նրան, որ ասում են՝ մենք այս ճակատամարտը պարտվեցինք, որովհետև մեկ դավաճան կար։ Մեզ բերել հասցրել են նրան, որ մի հոգի կարող է մի ազգի ճակատագիր որոշել, բա մյուսներն ի՞նչ էին անում:

Իհարկե, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ծանր մեղավոր է, բայց դա չի նշանակում, որ նա մենակ է եղել, կամ մենակ է բերել, եթե մենք այս փաստը վերցնենք ու շարունակենք, մի նոր աղետ ենք բերելու մեր առաջ»,- ընդգծեց պատգամավորը:

Նա նաև նշեց, որ պատերազմից հետո որևէ ձևաչափով Փաշինյանի հետ չի հանդիպել, միայն ԱԺ-ում հարցուպատասխանի ժամանակ:
