Որպես առողջապահության նախարար` ես ականատես եմ, թե ինչպես են միջուկային տեխնոլոգիաները հեղափոխություն բերում առողջապահության ոլորտում: Միջուկային բժշկությունը դարձել է մեր բժշկական գործիքակազմի էական մասը՝ թույլ տալով ավելի արդյունավետ ախտորոշել և բուժել մի շարք հիվանդություններ:

Միջուկային գիտության, տեխնոլոգիաների, կիրառությունների և տեխնիկական համագործակցության ծրագրի նախարարական համաժողովի «Կանայք` գիտության մեջ» (Women in Science) խորագրով պանելային քննարկման ընթացքում հանդես եմ եկել ելույթով:

Ներկայացրել եմ առաջնորդության իմ փորձը, անդրադարձել գիտության զարգացման գործում կանանց դերին և ներուժին:

Առանձնահատուկ շեշտել եմ կին հետազոտողների և բժիշկների դերը, ովքեր էական առաջընթաց են գրանցում բժշկագիտության մեջ՝ մշակելով ճշգրիտ ախտորոշիչ գործիքներ, որոնք այսօր փոխակերպում են քաղցկեղի հայտնաբերումն ու բուժումը:

Շեշտել եմ, որ ՀՀ կառավարությունն առաջնահերթություն է տալիս կանանց ներգրավվածության հավասար հնարավորությունների ստեղծմանը պետական կառավարման ոլորտներում` ճանապարհ հարթելով գիտության, այդ թվում` բժշկագիտության ոլորտում կանանց հաջորդ սերնդի համար:

Բոլորիս պարտականությունն է ստեղծել այնպիսի միջավայր, որտեղ երիտասարդ կանայք կստանան աջակցություն և կլինեն վստահ` գիտական առաջընթաց գրանցելու իրենց կարողություններում:
