В МИД отрицают, что Ереван просил организовать заседание ЕАЭС в Санкт-Петербурге

В МИД Армении прокомментировали вопрос о том, почему заседание ЕАЭС проводится не в Ереване, а в Санкт-Петербурге.
24News направил запрос в МИД, спросив, как они прокомментируют заявление помощника президента РФ Юрия Ушакова, согласно которому по просьбе армянских властей заседание ЕАЭС пройдет не в Ереване, а в Санкт-Петербурге.
Во внешнеполитическом ведомстве по большому счету опровергли данное утверждение, отметив, что это решение было принято еще в мае во время заседания в Москве.
«По регламенту, действующему в рамках ЕАЭС, не предусмотрено безусловное проведение заседания Евразийского экономического союза в государстве-члене, председательствующем в уставных органах ЕАЭС. Соответственно, решение о сроках и месте проведения очередного заседания Евразийского экономического союза принимается на предыдущем заседании.
В данном случае в ходе заседания Евразийского экономического союза в г. Москва 8 мая 2024 года руководителями стран-членов было принято решение о проведении следующего очередного заседания в декабре текущего года в Санкт-Петербурге», - говорится в разъяснении МИД.
