Երկիրը կրկին մնացել է միայն մեկ Լուսնով․ 2024 PT5 աստերոիդը հեռացել է մերձերկրյա ուղեծրից
ՀԱՆՐԱՀԱՅՏ ՄՈԼՈՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆՆԵՐՍեղմեք ԱՅՍՏԵՂ, լրացրեք օնլայն հայտը և մոռացեք հոսանքի վարձի մասին
2024 PT5 աստերոիդը հեռացել է Երկրից և դադարել է համարվել պայմանական երկրորդ Լուսինը: Շուրջ 11 մ տրամագծով օբյեկտը մեր մոլորակի ձգողության ուժի ազդեցության տակ 2024-ի սեպտեմբերի 29-ին մոտեցել էր Երկրին և երկու ամսից էլ քիչ ժամանակ էր անցկացրել նրա հետ «ընկերակցությամբ»:
Այս ընթացքում աստղագետները ավելի շատ հնարավորությու ունեցան ծանոթանալու 2024 PT5-ի հետ և եկան այն եզրակացության, որ այն կարող է լինել Լուսնի մի հատված:
2024 PT5 օբյեկտը աստերոիդների Արջունա խմբի մասն է կազմում։ Դրանք Արեգակի շուրջը շարժվում են Երկրին մոտ ուղեծրով և ընդհանուր առմամբ համարվում են մերձերկրյա օբյեկտներ։ 2024 PT5-ի դիտարկումները բացահայտել են, որ այն բավականին արագ է պտտվում՝ մեկ ժամից պակաս ժամանակահատվածում, ինչը տեղի է ունենում, երբ աստերոիդ հարվածի արդյունքում է առաջացած լինում։
Այս հայտնագործությունը հիմք է տվել ենթադրելու, որ Արջունա աստերոիդները առաջացել են մեծ երկնային մարմինների կողմից Լուսնին հարվածելու արդյունքում։ Արբանյակի մակերեսին կան բազմաթիվ խոշոր խառնարաններ, ուստի այս հնարավորությունը չպետք է զարմանալի լինի:
Գիտնականների կարծիքով, որպեսզի 2024 PT5-ը համարվի «փոքր լուսին», այն պետք է մոտենա Երկրին 4,5 միլիոն կմ հեռավորության վրա՝ ունենալով մոտ 3540 կմ/ժ հաստատուն արագություն։ 2024-ի սեպտեմբերի վերջին 2024 PT5 աստերոիդը լիովին համապատասխանում էր այս պայմաններին։ Այն դարձել է մեր մոլորակի ժամանակավոր փոքր լուսինը, որը մնացել է մոլորակի կողքին մոտ 56,6 օր: ՆԱՍԱ-ն, հետաքրքիր է, հակված չէ 2024 PT5-ը համարել Երկրի նույնիսկ ժամանակավոր արբանյակ: Գործակալությունը համարում է, որ այն երբեք չի եղել Երկրի ձգողության ազդեցության տակ և ինչպես ժամանել է, այնպես էլ հեռացել է։
Այնուամենայնիվ, NASA-ն կշարունակի վերահսկել այս օբյեկտը մոլորակային պաշտպանության ուժերով և միջոցներով։ 2024 PT5 աստերոիդը կրկին կմոտենա Երկրին 2025-ի հունվարի 9-ին։ Գործակալությունը խոստանում է օբյեկտը պահել «թիրախում» Կալիֆոռնիայի Goldstone արևային համակարգի ռադարի 70 մետրանոց ալեհավաքով։ Դրանից հետո «փոքրիկ Լուսինը» 30 տարով կլքի մերձերկրյա տարածությունը։
