Հանրապետական կուսակցությունից ընտրված Դոնալդ Թրամփի աջակցությունը զգալիորեն աճել է, երբ նա վերջին անգամ առաջադրվել էր Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահի պաշտոնում:
Հաղթելով դեմոկրատ Քամալա Հարիսին՝ Թրամփը 50 նահանգներից յուրաքանչյուրում և Վաշինգտոնում ձայների ավելի մեծ տոկոս ստացավ, քան չորս տարի առաջ:
Ըստ Associated Press-ի վերլուծության՝ Թրամփն ավելի շատ իրական ձայն է հավաքել, քան 2020 թվականին երկրի 40 նահանգներում:
Անշուշտ, Հարիսի պարտության գործոններից մեկը նրա ձայների անկումն էր ավելի քան 7 միլիոնով՝ համեմատած նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի 2020 թվականին ընդհանուր ցուցանիշի հետ, հատկապես տատանվող նահանգների խոշոր քաղաքներում, որոնք ընտրություններում հաղթած կուսակցության հենակետերն էին:
Բայց չնայած ազգային մասնակցությունը, որը 2020 թվականի ընտրությունների համեմատ ցածր էր, Թրամփը 2,5 միլիոնով ավելի շատ ձայն ստացավ, քան չորս տարի առաջ։ Նա գերազանցեց ամենամրցակցային նահանգներից յոթը՝ Ընտրողների կոլեգիայում ջախջախիչ հաղթանակ տանելով՝ ևր դարձավ 20 տարվա մեջ ժողովրդական ձայների մեծամասնությունը հավաքած առաջին հանրապետական թեկնածուն:
Թեև Թրամփը բարելավվել է իր դիրքերը ամբողջ քարտեզի վրա, նրա ձեռքբերումները հատկապես նկատելի են եղել Դետրոյթ, Միլուոքի և Ֆիլադելֆիա քաղաքային շրջաններում, որոնք դարձել են Հարիսի ընտրական ուժերը Միչիգանի, Վիսկոնսինի և Փենսիլվանիայի արդյունաբերական նահանգներում: Հարիսը հավաքել է ավելի քան 50 հազարձայն, և 5 տոկոսային կետով պակաս, քան Բայդենը Միչիգան նահանգի Ուեյն շրջանում, որը կազմում է Դեթրոյթի մետրոյի տարածքի առյուծի բաժինը: Նա գրեթե 36 հազար ձայնով զիջում էր Բայդենին Փենսիլվանիայի Ֆիլադելֆիա շրջանում, և մոտ 1000 ձայնով զիջում էր Վիսկոնսին նահանգի Միլուոքի շրջանին:
