Հնագետները Թուրքիայում հայտնաբերել են 5-րդ դարի հազվադեպ քրիստոնեական կախոց, որի վրա պատկերված է սատանային խոցող Սողոմոն թագավորը ձիու վրա։ Այսօրվա դրությամբ սա միակ նմանատիպ կախոցն է, որը հայտնաբերվել է Անատոլիայում, որը զբաղեցնում է ժամանակակից Թուրքիայի տարածքի մեծ մասը, գրել է Live Science-ը։
Բրոնզե կախոցի երկու կողմում կան հին հունարեն գրություններ։ Կախոցի՝ Սողոմոն թագավորի պատկերն ունեցող երեսին գրված տեքստը թարգմանվում է որպես «Մեր Տերը հաղթեց չարին», իսկ դարձերեսին՝ չորս հրեշտակների անունները՝ Ազրայիլ, Գաբրիել, Միքայել եւ Իսրաֆիլ։
Հրեական Աստվածաշնչի համաձայն՝ Սողոմոն թագավորը հին Իսրայելի կառավարիչն էր մ.թ.ա. 10-րդ դարում, բայց աստվածաշնչյան պատումը հաստատող տվյալները քիչ են։
Հնագետները հայտնաբերել են կախոցը Ադրիանապոլսի պեղումների ժամանակ։ Դա հնագույն բնակավայր է Պաֆլագոնիայում, Թուրքիայի հյուսիս-կենտրոնական մասում, Սեւ ծովի ափին։ Այն դարձել է քաղաք հռոմեացիների օրոք եւ կոչվել է Ադրիանապոլիս ի պատիվ հռոմեական կայսր Ադրիանոսի, որը կառավարել է մ.թ. 117-138թթ. եւ վերակառուցվել է վաղ բյուզանդական շրջանում։ Այսօր այն գտնվում է Քարաբյուք քաղաքի մերձակայքում։
Հենվելով հնագիտական շերտի վրա, որտեղ հայտնաբերվել է կախոցը, հնագետները այն թվագրել են 5-րդ դարով, երբ Ադրիանապոլիսը Բյուզանդական կայսրության մի մասն էր։ Կայսր Կոնստանտինը, որը կառավարել է Ադրիանոսից մի քանի դար հետո, ավելի ուշ Հռոմի կայսրությունը բաժանել է երկու մասի, ինչը հանգեցրել է Բյուզանդական կայսրության ստեղծմանը մ.թ. 330թ.։
