Չեխիայի Ուստի-նադ-Լաբեմ քաղաքում տեղի ունեցած բռնցքամարտի առաջնության գլխավոր իրադարձությունը դարձավ 12-ռաունդանոց մենամարտը՝ հայ մարզիկ Յուրի Սաքունցի մասնակցությամբ: Նրա մրցակիցը ազգությամբ թուրք բռնցքամարտիկ Ռիչարդ Ալկանն էր, իսկ խաղի արդյունքը որոշում էր Չեխիայի չեմպիոնական գոտու տիրոջը:

Յուրի Սաքունցը վստահորեն ղեկավարում էր մենամարտը՝ ցույց տալով իր գերազանցությունը ռինգում: Չորրորդ ռաունդում նրա մրցակիցը չկարողացավ շարունակել պայքարը, և մրցավարը հայտարարեց տեխնիկական նոկաուտ:

Այդպիսով, Յուրին ոչ միայն տպավորիչ հաղթանակ տարավ, այլև Չեխիայի չեմպիոնական գոտին նվիրեց Հայաստանին:

Իր հաղթանակը Յուրի Սաքունցը նվիրեց լեգենդար հայ մարտական «Արաբո» ջոկատի անձնվեր զինվորներին և ամբողջ հայ ժողովրդին՝ ընդգծելով ազգային միասնության և հայրենիքի նկատմամբ հոգատարության կարևորությունը:

Յուրի Սաքունցի նվաճումների շարքում են ուժային եռամարտի աշխարհի կրկնակի չեմպիոնի, բռնցքամարտի աշխարհի և Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնի, ձեռնամարտի աշխարհի չեմպիոնի և ուժային պայքարի Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնի տիտղոսները:

Նա բազմիցս ապացուցել է իր անհավանական ուժը՝ քաշելով 60-տոննանոց մետրոյի վագոններ և անգամ 40-տոննանոց ռազմական մեքենա՝ տանկով բարձված: Յուրիի ութ նվաճում Գինեսի գրքում են գրանցվել:

Չեխիայում հաղթանակը Յուրի Սաքունցի բացառիկ տաղանդի և անկոտրում ոգու ևս մեկ ապացույցն է:
