Ռուսաստանի և Իրանի հետ չհամագործակցելու Արևմուտքի՝ Հայաստանին ուղղված կոչերը մահաբեր մտածողություն են, Երևանում դասախոսության ժամանակ ասել է ամերիկացի տնտեսագետ, ակադեմիկոս, հանրային քաղաքականության վերլուծաբան, պրոֆեսոր Ջեֆրի Սաքսը։
 
Նրա խոսքով՝ Հայաստանին տեխնոլոգիապես հետ չմնալու համար անհրաժեշտ են արտադրության ուղղությունների խելամիտ ռազմավարություններ։
 
«Այդ ամենին կարելի է հասնել տարածաշրջանում, որտեղ համագործակցություն է հաստատվել, և ամբողջ աշխարհում համագործակցության պայմաններում», - հայտարարել է փորձագետը:
Նա կարծում է, որ բնապահպանական ճգնաժամի պայմաններում անհրաժեշտ են նոր տեխնոլոգիաներ, զրոյական ածխածնային Էներգետիկա, էլեկտրամոբիլներ, արտադրության միջոցներ, որոնք, մասնավորապես, ունի Չինաստանը, և դրանք կարելի է ձեռք բերել Չինաստանի հետ առևտրի, տնտեսական և աշխարհաքաղաքական հարաբերությունների արդյունքում:
 
«Հայաստանը հաջողության կհասնիայս տրանսֆորմացիայում, եթե զարգացնի տրանսպորտային ուղիները։ Միջանցքի ճիշտ գաղափարն է լինել տնտեսական ցանցի մի մասը, որը Հյուսիսի և Հարավի ու Արևմուտքի և Արևելքի միջև առևտրի տարածաշրջանային հիմք ունի»,- նշել է Սաքսը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ դրահամար պետք են լավ հարաբերություններ Ադրբեջանի, Թուրքիայի, Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի հետ։
 
«Ես առաջարկում եմ տնտեսական զարգացման ռազմավարություն՝ հիմնված այսամենիվրա։Արևմտյան մտածողությունը հետևյալն է՝ այս ամենը հնարավոր չէ, մենք երբեք չենք համագործակցի Ռուսաստանի հետ, մի համագործակցեք Իրանի հետ։ Կան «լավ տղաներ», կան «վատ տղաներ», մնացեք «լավեր հետ, մենք ձեզ կօգնենք, կփրկենք: Դա մահաբեր մտածողություն է», - ասել է փորձագետը։ Ճիշտ մտածողությունն այն է, ինչ տեղի է ունեցել Իրանի և Սաուդյան Արաբիայի միջև, որտեղ Չինաստանը դարձել է խաղաղության միջնորդ, հավելել է նա:
