Руководитель группы дружбы НС Армения-Ирак принял временного поверенного в делах посольства Ирака

2 ноября руководитель группы дружбы НС Армения-Ирак Рустам Бакоян встретился с временным поверенным в делах посольства Республики Ирак Али Абдулкаремом Утави.
Р.Бакоян заметил, что должность председателя Палаты представителей Республики Ирак была вакантной около года. После состоявшихся 31 октября выборов Палата представителей обрела председателя. Поздравляя в связи с этим иракский народ, Р.Бакоян отметил, что между двумя странами есть новые возможности развития и укрепления, парламентского сотрудничества. Он выразил уверенность, что Временный поверенный в делах своим авторитетом и опытом посодействует углублению межпарламентской дипломатии между двумя странами.
Отмечено, что оба государства имеют большой потенциал для сотрудничества, особенно весомы неиспользованные возможности в сфере экономики, торгового оборота.
На встрече обсужден ряд вопросов двусторонних отношений. Затронуты проблемы региональной безопасности и стабильности.
