Զոհրաբ Եգանյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջումգրում է.

Հայկական բանակի մասին առաջին պատմությունները լսել եմ մեծերից, երբ 6-7 տարեկան երեխա էի ու ընթանում էր արցախյան պատերազմը: Ամեն անգամ, երբ տեսում էի մեր շենքից ոչ հեռու գտնվող դիահերձարանի մոտ հավաքված մարդկանց, հարցնում էի ավագներին, թե ինչ է պատահել, ինձ հիմանում ասում էին, որ մեր զինվորներին սպանել են թուրքերը, որովհետև մեր զինվոները պաշտպանում են մեր հողերը, ծերերին ու երեխաներին: Հետո հիշում եմ Վազգեն Սարգսյանին, ով իմ մանկական հիշողությունների մեջ մնացել է միայն զինվորական համազգեստով ու շատ վստահ մարդ, ես հավատացած էի, որ Վազգենը հրաշագործ է ու նա կարող է միայնակ հաղթել բոլոր թուրքերին, հետո եկավ պահ, երբ բանակին գուլպաներ ու հագուստ էր պետք, դպրոց էինք տանում ով ինչ կարողանում էր ու ուսուցիչներն ասում էին, որ զինվորների համար է: Դա մենք անում էինք մեծ ոգևորությամբ ու սիրով: Ասելիքս այն է, որ Հայոց Բանակը մեր սերնդի համար թերևս ամեն ինչ է, շատերիս մանկական հիշողության մեջ է Շուշիի ազատագրումն ավետող լուրերի այդ օրվա թողարկումը, Վազգենի մարտակոչը, եռամսյա հավաքներն ու ցավալի զոհերը, որոնց թաղումներն ընթանում էին դեպի օդ կրակոցներով: Այս ամենից ծնվեց այն բանակը, որն անկասկած հիմա ավելի լավն է, քան առաջ էր և ավելի լավն է լինելու, քան հիմա է: Տոնդ շնորհավոր հայկական բանակ, դու միակ հաղթանակած բանակն ես ողջ տարածարջանում:
