Դոնալդ Թրամփը մի օրում չի կարող կանգնեցնել ռուս-ուկրաինական պատերազմը, բայց հնարավոր է՝ Ուկրաինայի ֆինանսավորումը նվազեցնի, ինչը կարող է ազդել տարածաշրջանային հարաբերությունների վրա։ Նա ձգտելու է ուղիղ ու միջնորդավորված բանակցություններ վարել ՌԴ-ի հետ։ 24TV-ի «Հարցազրույց Հերմինե Միքայելյանի հետ» հաղորդման ժամանակ նման կարծիք հայտնեց «Հայաքվե» նախաձեռնող խմբի համակարգող Ավետիք Չալաբյանը։
Չալաբյանի գնահատմամբ, տարածաշրջանում Թրամփի օրոք ՌԴ-ի ազդեցությունը կավելանա, «ծիծեռնակները» Վրաստանում երևում են, ինչը կազդի նաև Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի վրա։ «Այս իշխանությունը Թրամփի ընտրվելու դեպքում պլան Բ չուներ, ավելին՝ Մակունցը իդենտֆիկացվում էր դեմոկրատների հետ, նա հարաբերություններ չհաստատեց հանրապետականների հետ։ Թրամփի համար մանր-մունր արկածախնդիրները հեղինակություն չեն, ինչը ՀՀ-ի համար խնդիր է, իսկ մյուս կողմից՝ նաև հնարվորություն՝ ազատվելու այս վարչակազմից»,-ընդգծեց նա։
