Ժամանակն ապացուցեց ,որ Սերժ Սարգսյանի ԵԱՏՄ անդամակցելու եւ ՌԴ-ի հետ դաշնակցային կապերի խորացման որոշումներն արդարացված էին։
ԱՄՆ -ի նախագահական ընտրությունների արդյունքներից հետո նույնիսկ անհույս «արեւմտամոլներին» պարզ դարձավ,որ ՌԴ-ն Հարավային Կովկասից չի հեռանալու։
Ավելին,չի հեռանալու նաեւ ՀԱՊԿ-ն եւ ԵԱՏՄ-ն։
Հետեւաբար ,Նիկոլի մարազմատիկ թեզերը,թե ՀԱՊԿ-ն դուրս է գալիս Հայաստանից անլուրջ էին։
ՀՀԿ-ն՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանի առաջնորդությամբ մշտապես կողմնակից է եղել ՌԴ-ի հետ դաշնակցային կապերի խորացմանն ու բազմիցս սուր քննադատել նիկոլական ռեժիմի հակառուսական դեմարշները։
ՀՀԿ-ն 2007թվականից համագործակցության հուշագիր ունի «Միասնական Ռուսաստան» կուսակցության հետ,իսկ վերջին տարիներին այդ համագործակցությունը նոր թափ է ստացել:
Սերժ Սարգսյանի կառավարման շրջանում էր,որ ՀՀ-ն դարձավ ԵԱՏՄ անդամ։
Ու ՀՀ այսօրվա տնտեսական ակտիվությունը նախ եւ առաջ պայմանավորված է ԵԱՏՄ անդամ լինելով։
Սերժ Սարգսյանի կառավարման շրջանում ընդունվեց ՀԱՊԿ ռազմավարական ծրագիրը։
2010 -ին ՀՀ եւ ՌԴ նախագահների արձանագրությամբ մինչեւ 2044թ. երկարաձգվեց 102-րդ ռուսական ռազմաբազայի տեղակայումը Հայաստանում։
Այս ամենն արվում էր ՀՀ պետական ու ազգային շահերից ելնելով։
Առաջիկայում ՀՀԿ-ն էլ ավելի է զարգացնելու իր միջազգային կապերը գործընկեր կուսակցություննեի ու ,մասնավորապես,«Միասնական Ռուսաստան»-ի հետ։
ՀՀԿ ԳՄ-ն ու Խորկուրդը,ինչպես նաեւ ՀՀԿ Երիտասարդական,Ուսանողական ու Կանանց խորհուրդներն արդյունավետ համագործակցում են մեր միջազգային գործընկերների հետ։
Նպատակը մեկն է՝ սպասարկել ՀՀ,հայության ու արցախայության շահը։
Իսկ դա արրյունավետ իրականացնելու համար անհրաժեշտ է ունենալ թե դաշնակիցներ եւ թե գործընկերներ։
