news.ru-ն «Քաղաքագետը հայտարարել է Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև ռազմական համագործակցության խզման մասին» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Հայաստանն աստիճանաբար դուրս է գալիս Ռուսաստանի հետ ռազմատեխնիկական պայմանագրերից և անցնում այլ երկրների հետ համագործակցության, news.ru-ի հետ զրույցում ասել է Ժամանակակից պետական զարգացման ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Դմիտրի Սոլոննիկովը։ «Հայաստանն իսկապես քայլեր է ձեռնարկում Ռուսաստանի հետ ռազմատեխնիկական պայմանագրերից աստիճանաբար դուրս գալու և այլ երկրների հետ համագործակցության անցնելու ուղղությամբ։ Դա Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի նպատակաուղղված երկարաժամկետ քաղաքականությունն է, որը նա վարում է՝ զենք գնելով Ֆրանսիայից, ՆԱՏՕ-ի այլ երկրներից և Հնդկաստանից։
 
Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ Երևանի ոչ բարեկամական գործողությունները վերջին շրջանում սովորական են դարձել, դա նրա արտաքին քաղաքականությունն է։ Հայաստանը օբյեկտիվորեն հեռանում է Ռուսաստանից»,- հայտարարել է Սոլոննիկովը։ Քաղաքագետը նաև ասել է, որ առաքումների հետաձգման հետ կապված խնդիրներ կան ոչ միայն ռուս արտադրողների, այլ նաև արտասահմանյան արտադրողների մոտ։ Նրա կարծիքով, եթե կան նման խնդիրներ, ապա դրանք պետք է լուծվեն այլ ճանապարհներով, և ոչ թե դաշնակիցներին անտեսելով։ Ավելի վաղ Avions Legendaires պորտալը հայտնել էր, որ Հայաստանը բանակցում է Հնդկաստանի հետ Սու-30 ՄԿԻ կործանիչների մատակարարման շուրջ, որոնք մշակված են ռուսական մոդելի հիման վրա հնդկական ռազմաօդային ուժերի կարիքների համար։ Միաժամանակ, Երևանը դժգոհում է, որ Ռուսաստանը չի կատարել Սու-30ՍՄ կործանիչների մատակարարման պատվերը։
 
Մինչ այդ էլ, Հայաստանի արտգործնախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանն ասել էր, որ Երևանը հաշվարկում է բոլոր ռիսկերը կապված Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպությունից դուրս գալու հնարավորության հետ։ Բացի այդ, Հայաստանի ԱԳՆ ղեկավարը հիշեցրել է, որ երկիրը սառեցրել է իր անդամակցությունը ՀԱՊԿ-ին և չի նախատեսում վերադառնալ «այն հարաբերություններին, որոնք նախկինում կային»։ Նրա խոսքով, Հայաստանն իրեն «չի տեսնում այն ռազմական դաշինքի մեջ, որը չի աշխատում»։
