Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահ Միխեիլ Սահակաշվիլին պատմել է, թե ինչպես է Դոնալդ Թրամփը հարցրել իր կարծիքը ԱՄՆ նախագահի պաշտոնում իր թեկնածության առաջադրման մասին, հայտնում է վրացական Առաջին ալիքը։

«Դոնալդ Թրամփն ինձ ասաց, Միշա, ի՞նչ ես կարծում՝ եթե նորից առաջադրվեմ նախագահի պաշտոնում։ Ես պատասխանեցի, որ ըստ իս, դուք շատ լավ շանսեր ունեք»,- գրել է Սաակաշվիլին սոցցանցում։

Ինչպես նշել է Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահը, այնուհետև Թրամփն իրեն ասել է, որ իր շրջապատում այդ հնարավորություններին ոչ ոք չի հավատում։

 «2013 թվականին՝ արդեն իմ նախագահությունից հետո, ես Նյու Յորքում էի, երբ Մայքլ Քոհենը զանգահարեց ինձ և ասաց, որ Դոնալդը ցանկանում է խոսել ինձ հետ և հեռախոսը փոխանցեց նրան։ Դոնալդը հարցրեց, թե ես որտեղ եմ։ Ես նրան ասացի, որ Նյու Յորքում եմ, և եթե ուզում ես, այցելիր ինձ։ Նա խոստացավ, որ կայցելի ինձ Ուիլյամսբուրգում, ապա ի միջիայլոց հարցրեց՝ ինչ կասես, Միշա, եթե ես նորից առաջադրվեմ նախագահի պաշտոնում։ Ես պատասխանեցի՝ Դուք գիտեք իմ կարծիքն այս հարցում, մենք արդեն բազմիցս խոսել ենք, իհարկե, կարծում եմ, որ շատ լավ շանսեր ունեք։ Նա պատասխանեց՝ որքան գիտեմ, իմ շրջապատում ոչ ոք չի հավատում, որ ես նման հնարավորություն ունեմ։ Ես նրան գոտեպնդեցի և ասացի՝ մի՛ հավատա նրանց։ Այնուհետև նա Մայքլին ասաց՝ տեսնում ես, տեսնում ես, ես քեզ ասում էի, որ Միշան էլ է ասում, որ ես շանսեր ունեմ»,-գրում է Միխեիլ Սահակաշվիլին։
