Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Դոնալդ Թրամփին՝ Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների 47-րդ նախագահ ընտրվելու առիթով: Շնորհավորական ուղերձում ասված է.

«Մեծարգո պարոն Թրամփ,

Ջերմորեն շնորհավորում եմ Ձեզ՝ Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների 47-րդ նախագահ ընտրվելու առիթով։

Վստահ եմ, որ Ձեր հարուստ փորձը, գիտելիքները և կարողությունները լավագույն կերպով կծառայեն ԱՄՆ ժողովրդի բարեկեցության ապահովմանը, ԱՄՆ շահերի առաջմղմանը և ԱՄՆ համաշխարհային դերակատարության ամրապնդմանը:

Անցած տարիների ընթացքում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև հարաբերությունները, որոնք խարսխված են մեր երկրների պատմական բարեկամության, ընդհանուր արժեքների և փոխադարձ շահերի վրա, գրանցել են աննախադեպ առաջընթաց: Անշուշտ, այդ գործընթացում դեր ունի նաև ամերիկահայ համայնքը։

Բարձր եմ գնահատում մեր երկրների միջև առկա արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը Հարավային Կովկասում ինքնիշխանության և տարածքային ամբողջականության հիմնարար սկզբունքների հիման վրա խաղաղության և կայունության հաստատման, Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների ամրապնդման, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության և իրավունքի գերակայության ապահովման, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի, անվտանգային սպառնալիքների կանխարգելման գործում:

Մեր բազմաշերտ օրակարգում առանձնահատուկ տեղ է զբաղեցնում առևտրատնտեսական և ներդրումային ոլորտներում համագործակցության զարգացումը, ինչպես նաև առկա զգալի ներուժի լիարժեք օգտագործումը: Այս կապակցությամբ ուրախ եմ արձանագրել այն համատեղ ջանքերը, որոնք ուղղված են խթանելու Հայաստանի տնտեսական և էներգետիկ դիմակայունությունը: Համոզված եմ, որ Ձեր նախագահության օրոք ՀՀ-ԱՄՆ հարաբերություններն էլ ավելի կամրապնդվեն, և կշարունակենք արձանագրել նորանոր ձեռքբերումներ՝ իրագործելով ռազմավարական գործընկերության մակարդակին հասնելու մեր տեսլականը:

Լիահույս եմ, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև հարաբերություններում նոր հնարավորություններ կընձեռվեն, հատկապես՝ Հարավային Կովկասում տևական և կայուն խաղաղության հաստատման, տարածաշրջանային տնտեսական և հաղորդակցային ուղիների ապաշրջափակման պարագայում, որի վերաբերյալ ՀՀ Կառավարության առաջարկներն ամբողջացած են «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» նախագծում:

Թույլ տվեք մեկ անգամ ևս շնորհավորել Ձեզ ԱՄՆ նախագահի պաշտոնում ընտրվելու առիթով՝ մաղթելով քաջառողջություն, հաջողություն և նորանոր ձեռքբերումներ՝ ի նպաստ Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների բարեկամ ժողովրդի բարօրության և առաջընթացի»:
