Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ընդունել է Ֆրանսիայի Ալֆորվիլ քաղաքի քաղաքապետ Լյուկ Կարվունասի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը: Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմից։

Հաղորդագրության մեջ նշվում է, որ Ալֆորվիլը Ֆրանսիայի առավել հայաշատ քաղաքներից մեկն է, որն ակտիվորեն հանդես է գալիս Հայաստանի և հայկական օրակարգային հարցերի պաշտպանությամբ:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են երկու երկրների միջև ապակենտրոնացված համագործակցության և քույր քաղաքների ձևաչափով գործակցության հնարավորությունները, որոնք նպաստում են համայնքային մակարդակում կապերի ամրապնդմանը և զարգացմանը։

Նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը կարևորել է նման համագործակցությունը՝ նշելով, որ Ֆրանսիայի և Հայաստանի համայնքները հնարավորություն ունեն արդյունավետորեն փոխանակելու լավագույն փորձը և համատեղ նախագծեր իրականացնել սոցիալ-տնտեսական, կրթական և մշակութային ոլորտներում։

Լյուկ Կարվունասն իր հերթին ընդգծել է, որ Ալֆորվիլ քաղաքը պատրաստ է սերտորեն համագործակցել հայկական համայնքների հետ՝ աջակցելով ինչպես ապակենտրոնացված գործընկերությանը, այնպես էլ քույր քաղաքների ձևաչափում նոր նախաձեռնությունների զարգացմանը։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում անդրադարձ է եղել ֆրանսիական կողմից տարիներ շարունակ ցուցաբերվող քաղաքական և մարդասիրական օգնությանը, որի համար նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանի համար կարևոր է միջազգային գործընկերների մասնակցությունը նման խնդիրների լուծման գործում։

Կողմերն ընդգծել են նաև Ֆրանսիայի և Հայաստանի միջև խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության կարևորությունը, որը նպաստում է երկկողմ կապերի խորացմանը և միջազգային հարթակներում երկու երկրների արդյունավետ համագործակցությանը։
