Ռուսաստանն ամեն ինչ անում է հայ-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման և Երևանի ու Բաքվի միջև խաղաղության պայմանագրի ստորագրման համար։ Այդ մասին ռուսական լրատվամիջոցների փոխանցմամբ Ռուսաստանում հավատարմագրված դեսպանների հավատարմագրերի հանձնման արարողության ժամանակ հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը։
«Նույն ոգով է կառուցվում մեր համագործակցությունը Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի հետ։ Մենք արել և անում ենք ամեն ինչ հայ-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման, Անդրկովկասում կայուն խաղաղություն ապահովելու համար։ Այսուհետ ևս կաջակցենք խաղաղության պայմանագրի, պետական սահմանի սահմանազատման և տնտեսական ու տրանսպորտային կապերի ապաշրջափակման աշխատանքներին՝ 2020-2022 թվականների՝ բարձր մակարդակով եռակողմ հայտնի պայմանավորվածությունների հիման վրա»,- ասել է Պուտինը։
Ռուսաստանի նախագահը նաև ուշադրություն է հրավիրել հոկտեմբերին Կազանում կայացած ԲՐԻԿՍ-ի գագաթնաժողովում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների զրույցի վրա: «Չեմ կարող գոհունակություն չհայտնել, որ Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի ղեկավարներն օգտվել են Կազանում ԲՐԻԿՍ-ի գագաթնաժողովի հարթակից ու օգտակար զրույց ունեցել սկզբունքային հարցերի շուրջ, որոնք վերաբերում են տարածաշրջանում կայուն խաղաղության և ազգամիջյան համաձայնության ձեռքբերմանը»,- եզրափակել է Պուտինը։
Հիշեցնենք, որ այսօր Վլադիմիր Պուտինին իր հավատարմագրերն է հանձնել նաև ՌԴ-ում ՀՀ նորանշանակ դեսպան Գուրգեն Արսենյանը։ Վերջինս մինչ դեսպանի պաշտոնում նշանակվելը, Ազգային ժողովի իշխող «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության պատգամավոր էր։
