«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

aif.ru–ն ««Հայկական բրենդի». Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն արգելել է կոնյակը Հայաստանի բնակիչների համար» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Հայաստանի քաղաքացիները պետք է ձեռնպահ մնան «կոնյակ» բառը տեղական արտադրանքի նկատմամբ օգտագործելուց, նույնիսկ ընտանիքում։ Այդ մասին հայտարարել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ «Անհնար է, կոնյակը Ֆրանսիայի ոչ նյութական արժեքն է»,- կառավարության նիստում ասել է Հայաստանի վարչապետը։ Փաշինյանը բացատրել է, որ հայերը, նույնիսկ ընտանիքներում, պետք է «կոնյակին բրենդի ասեն»։ 2017 թվականին Հայաստանը ԵՄ-ի հետ ստորագրել է Ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագիր, որի մի մասն էր մինչև 2043 թվականը «կոնյակ» անվանումից ամբողջությամբ հրաժարվելու պարտավորությունը։
 
Փաստն այն է, որ ԵՄ կանոնակարգերը ճանաչում են «կոնյակ» տերմինը՝ որպես պաշտպանված աշխարհագրական անվանում, որը կարող է օգտագործվել միայն ֆրանսիական Շարանտի դեպարտամենտում արտադրված ապրանքների հետ կապված: 2032 թվականից բուն Հայաստանի տարածքում այլևս հնարավոր չի լինի օգտագործել «կոնյակ» տերմինը համապատասխան արտադրանքի նկատմամբ։ Որպես փոխհատուցում Բրյուսելը համաձայնել է Երևանին վճարել 3 մլն եվրո ֆինանսական օգնություն։ Հայաստանում կոնյակի գործարանային արտադրության պատմությունը շուրջ 150 տարվա վաղեմություն ունի։ 1914 թվականին Հայաստանում գործում էր 15 կոնյակի գործարան։ Խորհրդային Միությունում հայկական կոնյակը համարվում էր լավագույնը, որի համբավը տարածվել էր նաև երկրի սահմաններից դուրս։
 
Հայկական կոնյակի հանդեպ սեր են ունեցել Ուինսթոն Չերչիլը, Ֆրենկ Սինատրան և Ագաթա Քրիստին։ Իսկ ի՞նչ է եղել Ռուսաստանում։ Ֆրանսիան բազմիցս փորձել է համոզել Ռուսաստանին՝ հրաժարվել «կոնյակ», «շամպայն» և «կալվադոս» տերմիններից։ 2016 թվականին Էմանուել Մակրոնն անգամ առաջարկել է վերացնել մի շարք տնտեսական պատժամիջոցներ այդ քայլի դիմաց։ Սակայն ռուսական կողմին դա չի գայթակղել։ Հիմա այդ մասին չեն խոսում։ Մոսկվան ընդունել է կանոնակարգ, որը սահմանում է, թե որ ապրանքները կարելի է անվանել «կոնյակ» և «շամպայն»: Այնուամենայնիվ, այդ չափանիշները ոչ մի կապ չունեն Ֆրանսիայի հետ, ուստի ռուսները կշարունակեն խմել իրենց հայրենի կոնյակներն ու շամպայնները, անկախ նրանից, թե ինչ են մտածում այդ մասին Փարիզում։ Եվ, իհարկե, ոչ ոք չի համոզի նրանց՝ հրաժարվել ընտանեկան ավանդույթներից։
 
Ինչ վերաբերում է Հայաստանին, ապա պաշտոնական Երևանը մեծ ուշադրություն է դարձնում Ֆրանսիայի հետ համագործակցությանը տարբեր, այդ թվում՝ ռազմատեխնիկական ոլորտներում։ Եվ այդ նպատակով էլ կառավարությունը պատրաստվում է երկիրը մաքրել «կոնյակ» բառից։ Այսպիսով, Հայաստանի բնակիչներին խոստանում են հաջողություն և բարեկեցություն «սխալ» սովորություններից հրաժարվելու դիմաց։ Կյանքը ցույց կտա, թե արդյո՞ք խաղն արժե վառած մոմին։
