Լիբանանն Իսրայելի հետ անհավասար մարտը վարում է միայնակ։ Աշխարհը սահմանափակվում է միայն կոչերով ու հորդորներով, իսկ Լիբանանի ժողովուրդը կանգնած է տնտեսական ու հումանիտար ճգնաժամի վտանգի առաջ։
«Այս էլ 21-րդ դարը, երբ մի ողջ ժողովուրդ մատնված է սրի, իսկ գործուն քայլեր չկա ո՛չ արևմուտքից, ո՛չ հյուսիսից։ Եվ անգամ արաբական երկրները չեն միավորվում Լիբանանի փրկության շուրջ։ Երբեմնի ժովովրդավարության ու քաղաքակրթության կղզին կանգնած է վերացման վտանգի առաջ»,-ահազանգուն է բեյրութահայ Վարուժան Քոսակյանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ իսրայելական ուժերն ի տարբերություն «Հըզբոլլահ» շարժան, թիրախավորում են հիմնականում քաղաքացիական բնակավայրերն ու ենթակառուցվածքները։
«Երեկ էլ ռմբակոծության տակ հայտնվեց Սայտա քաղաքը։ Տեղացի ժողովուրդն այն անվանում է Հարավային Լիբանանի մայրաքաղաքը, քանի որ Բեյրութից ու Տրիպոլիից հետո՝ ամենամեծ քաղաքն է, հարուստ մշակույթով։ Այնտեղ էլ հազարավոր հայեր են ապրում։ Իմ ունեցած տվյալներով տուժածների մեջ հայեր չկան, բայց լիբանանցի մեր հայրենակիցների մեջ՝ բազմաթիվ տուժածներ կան, այդ թվում՝ 2 հարազատ քույր են զոհվել, անմեղ մարդիկ։ Իսրայելցի զինվորականների աչքերով մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրը թշնամի է»,-ասաց մեր զրուցակիցը։
Քոսակյանն ասում է, որ եթե պատերազմը շարունակվի այս նույն տեմպերով, ապա շատ հավանական է, որ Լիբանանը տարածքային կորուստներ կունենա։
«Պետք է միջազգային հանրության խոսքը գործի վերածվի։ Պետք է անհապաղ սանձել Նեթանյահուին, կտրել նրա առաջ բերող ձեռքերը, մաքրել արյունահեղությունը, կանխել վերահաս ցեղասպանությունը»,-հավելեց նա։
