Канье Уэст достиг внесудебного соглашения с Adidas

Канье Уэст достиг внесудебного соглашения с Adidas после того, как бренд разорвал отношения из-за его антисемитских комментариев.

Генеральный директор Adidas Бьорн Гульден сообщил, что они достигли внесудебного соглашения, которое не включало никаких выплат. «Больше нет открытых вопросов, и мы оба движемся дальше», — сказал Гульден журналистам.

По его словам, стороны отозвали все претензии. Но он не представил каких-либо подробностей о сделке.  «Больше никто никому ничего не должен», —  цитирует его Bloomberg. «Так что все, что было, уже история».

Немецкая компания прекратила сотрудничество с 47-летним Уэстом после того, как он надел футболку с надписью «White Lives Matter» и выступил с антисемитской тирадой в октябре 2022 года.

«Adidas не терпит антисемитизма и любых других видов языка ненависти», — заявила спортивная компания в то время.

Сообщается, что до этого, линия Yeezy Уэста составляла почти половину прибыли компании.

После  разрыва отношений с Уэстом осталось нераспроданных кроссовок и товаров Yeezy на сумму около 1,3 миллиарда долларов. Позже Гульден пообещал пожертвовать всю прибыль от оставшихся продаж Yeezy «организациям, которые помогают нам и пострадали от того, что сказал» Уэст.

Между тем, партнерство Уэста с Adidas принесло ему 1,5 миллиарда долларов чистого капитала, но как только все сорвалось, он лишился статуса миллиардера.
