ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը միջուկային զենքի զսպման ռազմավարական ուժերի վարժանք է անցկացրել: Նա ընդգծել է, որ Ռուսաստանը չի ներքաշվի սպառազինությունների նոր մրցավազքի մեջ, բայց իր միջուկային ուժերը կպահպանի անհրաժեշտ մակարդակի վրա: Այս մասին գրում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն:

«Այսօր մենք անցկացնում ենք ռազմավարական (միջուկային-Խմբ.) ուժերի զսպման հերթական վարժանքը, մենք կմշակենք պաշտոնյաների գործողությունները՝ վերահսկելու միջուկային զենքի կիրառումը բալիստիկ և թևավոր հրթիռների գործնական արձակումներով»,- ասել է նա։

Պուտինն ընդգծել է, որ միջուկային զենքի կիրառումը ծայրահեղ միջոց է երկրի անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար։ Նա նշել է, որ դա Մոսկվայի սկզբունքային դիրքորոշումն է։

«Բայց, միևնույն ժամանակ, հենց միջուկային եռյակն է, որը շարունակում է մնալ Ռուսաստանի ինքնիշխանության և անվտանգության հուսալի երաշխավորը, որը հնարավորություն է տալիս լուծել ռազմավարական զսպման խնդիրները, ինչպես նաև պահպանել միջուկային հավասարությունը և ուժերի հավասարակշռությունն աշխարհում: Ցանկանում եմ ընդգծել, որ մենք չենք պատրաստվում ներքաշվել սպառազինությունների նոր մրցավազքի մեջ, սակայն մենք կպահպանենք միջուկային ուժերը անհրաժեշտ բավարար մակարդակի վրա», - նշել է պետության ղեկավարը։

Պուտինը շեշտել է, որ աշխարհում աճող լարվածությունը և արտաքին նոր սպառնալիքների ի հայտ գալը ցույց են տալիս ժամանակակից ռազմավարական զսպման ուժեր ունենալու, դրանք մշտապես  մարտական օգտագործման համար պատրաստ պահելու կարևորությունը:

Ուստի Մոսկվան կշարունակի կատարելագործել դրանց բոլոր բաղադրիչները, ընդգծել է ՌԴ նախագահը՝ հավելելով, որ երկիրն ունի դրա ռեսուրսները։
