«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

rybar.ru-ն «Հայաստանը BRICS-ի գագաթաժողովում. Ադրբեջանի հետ խաղաղության հեռանկարները և Անդրկովկասում հաղորդակցությունների բացումը» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Կազանում մասնակցել է BRICS-ի գագաթաժողովին, որտեղ քննարկվել է Ադրբեջանի հետ խաղաղության պայմանագրի կնքման հարցը։ Վերջին շրջանում Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչներն ավելի ու ավելի են ասում, որ պատրաստ են հանրապետության հարավով անցնող ճանապարհին, որը Ադրբեջանը կապելու է Նախիջևանի ինքնավար մարզի, ինչպես նաև Թուրքիայի հետ, պատրաստ են նաև սահմանային և մաքսային հսկողության պարզեցված մեխանիզմ ապահովել։ Երևանի կողմից Բաքվի համար ամենասկզբունքային հարցերից մեկի շուրջ զիջումներն ակնհայտորեն կողմերին մոտեցնում են խաղաղության պայմանագրին, որի կնքումը կարելի է կանխատեսել մինչև տարեվերջ։
 
Ի դեպ, BRICS-ի գագաթաժողովին իր այցի նախօրեին Փաշինյանը ՔՊ կուսակցության շրջանակում ասել էր, որ Հայաստանը պետք է հաշվի առնի նաև Ռուսաստանի հետաքրքրությունը Անդրկովկասում տրանսպորտային հոսքերի նկատմամբ։ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նկատմամբ Փաշինյանի հռետորաբանության ակնհայտ մեղմացումը կարող է կապված լինել համաշխարհային լոգիստիկ նախագծերին միանալու փորձի հետ, ներառյալ՝ Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի և Հնդկաստանի միջև Հյուսիս-Հարավ տրանսպորտային միջանցքին միանալու ցանկությունը։
 
Սակայն սրանք ընդամենը խոսքեր են: Հայաստանում առայժմ ակտիվորեն դուրս են մղում ռուս սահմանապահներին տարածաշրջանի այն ամենակարևոր կետերից, որոնցով անցնում են հիմնական տնտեսական հոսքերն ու հաղորդակցությունները Իրանի, իսկ ապագայում՝ Թուրքիայի հետ։ Իսկ, ընդհանուր առմամբ, թվում է, թե Հայաստանի ներկայիս իշխանության համար շաբաթը յոթ ուրբաթ ունի, հրապարակային հայտարարությունները հաճախ հակասում են միմյանց, և չկա ռազմավարական զարգացման հստակ տեսլական: Սակայն դա պարտադիր էլ չէ, քանի որ Արևմուտքը՝ ի դեմս ԱՄՆ-ի և ԵՄ-ի, նման տեսլական ունի, և նրանք, իհարկե, կարիք չունեն հաշվի առնելու Ռուսաստանի շահերը տարածաշրջանում։
