Հայկական զինված ուժերը իրենց գործունեության ընթացքում հաճախ ստիպված են լինում հետ մղել հակառակորդի սադրանքները, իսկ այս իրականության մեջ լինում են մարդիկ, որոնց կյանքի շնորհիվ է հնարավոր լինում կանխարգելել ու զսպել հակառակորդին՝ ստիպելով  չխախտել հրադադարի գործող պայմանագիրը: Հայոց բանակի կազմավորման 24-րդ տարեդարձի կապակությամբ ՀՀ նախագահական նստավայրում տեղի ունեցած պարգևատրման արարողությունից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը:

«Եվ մեր հերոսների կյանքն է, որ փրկում է մեր ժողովրդի արժանապատվությունը, միաբանում է մեր ժողովրդին: Ես ցանկանում եմ առիթից օգտվել ու ասել, որ մենք խոնարհվում ենք բոլորի առջև՝ անուն առ անուն: Երևի յուրաքանչյուր ընտանիքի վիշտը սփոփում է հասարակության կողմից ցավը կիսելը և ժամանակը: Ես ցանկանում եմ, որ մեր զոհված զինծառայողների, ազատամարտիկների ծնողները իմանան, որ իրենց որդիները հերոսներ են: Մենք պետք է հպարտություն ապրենք նրանց արիության համար, որովհետև իրականության մեջ հաղթանակների բերկրանքը մենք կարող ենք զգալ մեր արի զավակների սխանքի շնորհիվ»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ընդգծեց նախարարը:

Սեյրան Օհանյանը շեշտեց, որ առաջին հերթին բանակի տոնը հենց նրանց տոնն է: «Առաջին հերթին նրանց անձնուրաց, քաջարի, վճռական կեցվածքի շնորհիվ է, որ մեր բանակն այսօր կատարելագործվում է ու ապահովում է մեր անվտանգությունը»,- հավելեց Օհանյանը:

Նախարարը նաև հավելեց, որ հակառակորդի գնդակից զոհված զինծառայող Ռուբեն Ալեքսանյանի եղբորը, ով դեռևս ծառայության մեջ է, կտեղափոխեն իր բնակավայրին ավելի մոտ տարածք՝ ծառայությունը շարունակելու համար: Ռուբեն Ալեքսանյանի մայրը խնդրել է իր մյուս որդուն տեղափոխել ավելի մոտ զորամաս. նրա խնդրանք արդեն կատարվել է: Նախարարը հավաստիացրեց, որ տեղափոխման հրամանն արդեն կա ու Ռուբեն Ալեքսանյանի եղբայրն այլևս չի ծառայի առաջին գծի զորամասում:
