Այս գիշեր իսրայելական օդուժի հարվածներն Իրանի ուղղությամբ, ըստ պաշտոնական Թեհրանի, իրականացվել են Թեհրան և ծայր հարավարևմտյան Խուժաստան ու Իլամ նահանգներում գտնվող ռազմական նշանակության օբյեկտների վրա՝ առանց իրանական օդային տարածք ներխուժման։ Այս մասին իր տելեգրամյան ալիքում գրել է իրանագետ Վարդան Ոսկանյանը։
