Նորվեգիայի վարչապետ Յոնաս Գահր Ստյորեն հայտարարել է, որ երկրի իշխանությունները պատրաստվում են սահմանափակել սոցցանցերի օգտագործումը մինչև 15 տարեկան երեխաների կողմից, հոկտեմբերի 23-ին հայտնել է նորվեգական Verdens Gang (VG) պարբերականը։

Կառավարությունը պատրաստվում է փոխել օրենքը, որը ներկայումս թույլատրում է սոցիալական ցանցերից օգտվել 13 տարեկանից։ Իշխանությունները մտադիր են նաև ուղղում ընդունել, որպեսզի սոցիալական ցանցերը ստուգեն օգտատերերի տարիքը, երբ համաձայնում են անձնական տվյալների հավաքագրմանը և մշակմանը։

Նորվեգիայի կառավարության ղեկավարն ասել է, որ դա «հեշտ պայքար» չի լինի, սակայն, նրա խոսքով, «երեխաները պետք է պաշտպանված լինեն սոցիալական ցանցերում վնասակար բովանդակությունից»: Ստյորեն ավելացրել է, որ խոշոր տեխնոլոգիական ընկերությունները «փոքր երեխաների ուղեղի» դեմ են տրամադրված:

Այս մասին հայտարարել է Նորվեգիայի վարչապետը, երբ զրուցել է Ստավանգերում մի խումբ ծնողների հետ, որոնք հանդես են գալիս սոցցանցերի օգտագործման տարիքային սահմանափակումներ մտցնելու օգտին։ Ինչպես նշում է VG-ն, 2023 թվականի գարնանը խմբի ներկայացուցիչը ստորագրել է 16 տարեկանից ցածր երեխաներին սոցցանցերից օգտվելն արգելելու պահանջով։

Հանդիպմանը ներկա երեխաների և ընտանիքի հարցերով նախարար Կյերսթի Տոպեն նշել է, որ ծնողները կարող են համաձայնություն տալ, որ իրենց երեխաները օգտվեն սոցիալական ցանցերից։
