Ուսանողներիս հաճախ ասում եմ, եթե փորձ է, ռեկտորը ներս մտնի, հյուր մտնի, ով ուզում է թող մտնի, երբեք չեք ընդհատում փորձը, բայց հանկարծ, նստած լինեք ու մտնի, մեկդ ոտքի չկանգնեք, ձեռքիցս չեք պրծնի: Ձևը այս աշխարհում ամենակարևոր բանն է: Ձևը հանիր բովանդակությունից, տեսանելի չի լինի: Ում է պետք իմ բովանդակալից մտքերը, եթե ես այդ մտքերը փոխանցելու ձևին չեմ տիրապետում: Ոչ մեկին դա հետաքրքիր չէ: Իսկ ձևը գտնում է նա, ով ունի բովանդակություն»,- ասել է Դավիթ Հակոբյանը:
