Գերմանիայի արտգործնախարար Անալենա Բերբոքը վայրէջք է կատարել Բեյրութում, որտեղ նախատեսված են նրա բանակցությունները լիբանանցի քաղաքական գործիչների և մարդասիրական կազմակերպությունների հետ, հայտնում է Al Jazeera-ն։
Ժամանելուց հետո Գերմանիայի արտգործնախարարը նախազգուշացրել է, որ Իսրայելի և լիբանանյան «Հըզբոլլահ» շարժման միջև ռազմական գործողությունները կարող է հանգեցնել Լիբանանի «լիակատար ապակայունացմանը», ինչն, ըստ նրա, «ճակատագրական կլինի Մերձավոր Արևելքի կրոնական այլազան հասարակության համար»:
Բերբոքի կարծիքով՝ վերջին շաբաթների ընթացքում Իսրայելին հաջողվել է զգալիորեն թուլացնել «Հըզբոլլահ»-ին Բեյրութի և այլ քաղաքների վրա օդային հարձակումների ալիքի, ինչպես նաև երկրի հարավում ցամաքային հարձակման հետևանքով: «Այժմ մենք պետք է աշխատենք ԱՄՆ-ի, Եվրոպայի և արաբական աշխարհի մեր գործընկերների հետ՝ դիվանագիտական կենսունակ լուծում գտնելու համար, որը կապահովի Իսրայելի և Լիբանանի օրինական անվտանգության շահերը», - շեշտել է նա:
Բերբոքը միաժամանակ հայտարարել է, որ Լիբանանում խաղաղության բանալին ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի 1701 բանաձևում է, որը Լիբանանի զինված ուժերին և ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահներին կոչ է անում լինել միակ ռազմական ներկայությունը Իսրայելի հետ սահմանի և Լիտանի գետի միջև՝ մոտ 30 կմ դեպի հյուսիս:
Բերբոքից առաջ շաբաթվա սկզբին Բեյրութ էր այցելել ԱՄՆ հատուկ բանագնաց Ամոս Հոխշտեյնը: Վերջինս հայտարարել է, որ ՄԱԿ-ի բանաձևը կյանքի կոչելու վերաբերյալ Լիբանանի կառավարության խոստումները բավարար չեն եւ ընդգծել է դրա իրականացման նոր մեխանիզմի շուրջ բանակցությունների անհրաժեշտությունը։
Գերմանիան Իսրայելի առաջատար ռազմական մատակարարներից է: Անցյալ տարի էկոնոմիկայի նախարարությունը հաստատել է 363,5 միլիոն դոլարի զենքի արտահանումը Իսրայել՝ ներառյալ ռազմական տեխնիկան և սպառազինությունը՝ 10 անգամ ավելի, քան 2022 թվականին, ըստ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության։ Այս տարի թույլտվությունների թիվը նվազել է, հունվարից օգոստոսի 21-ը տրամադրվել է 16,1 միլիոն դոլար:
