Ուկրաինայի բնակչությունը 10 միլիոնով նվազել է ռուսական ներխուժումից ի վեր․ ՄԱԿ

2022 թվականի փետրվարին Ռուսաստանի լայնածավալ ներխուժումից հետո Ուկրաինայի բնակչությունը նվազել է ավելի քան 10 միլիոնով։ Այս մասին հայտնել է ՄԱԿ-ը, գրում է VOA-ն:
ՄԱԿ-ի Բնակչության հիմնադրամը (UNFPA) հայտարարել է, որ երկիրը մարդահամար չի անցկացրել, սակայն պարզ է, որ պատերազմից տուժած Ուկրաինան բնակչության կտրուկ անկում է ապրել:
«Պատերազմի սկզբից ի վեր Ուկրաինայի բնակչությունը նվազել է ավելի քան 10 միլիոն մարդով»,- Ժնևում լրագրողներին ասել է UNFPA-ի Արևելյան Եվրոպայի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի տարածաշրջանային տնօրեն Ֆլորենս Բաուերը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ բնակչության նվազումը նկատվել է «լայնածավալ ներխուժման հենց սկզբից» և պայմանավորված է մի շարք «գործոնների համակցությամբ»։
Նույնիսկ պատերազմից առաջ Ուկրաինան ուներ Եվրոպայում ծնելիության ամենացածր ցուցանիշներից մեկը, և ինչպես Արևելյան Եվրոպայի շատ երկրներում՝ բնակչության թիվը նվազում էր, քանի որ երիտասարդները հեռանում էին նոր հնարավորություններ փնտրելու համար, բացատրել է Բաուերը:
Սակայն պատերազմի սկսվելուց ի վեր շուրջ 6,7 միլիոն մարդ լքել է երկիրը որպես փախստական, իսկ ծնելիության մակարդակը նվազել է մինչև մեկ կնոջ հաշվով մեկ երեխա, ասել է նա:
