Երկարատև բուժումներն այրվածքաբանական կենտրոնում ավարտելուց հետո՝ շուշեցի Աշոտ Բեգլարյանը պրոթեզավորվել է։ Սակայն, կինը՝ Մելանյան MediaHub-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ Աշոտը դժվարանում է քայլել, հնարավոր չէ, քանի որ մարմնի ամբողջ ծանրաբեռնվածությունը չի պահում, իսկ իրենց երազած բիոմեխանիկական պրոթեզը՝ թանկ է։

«Արդեն մեկ տարի է Աշոտը գամված է անկողնում։ Ինքնասպասարկման մեջ ինքնուրույն չէ, ես եմ օգնում նրան։ Տեղաշարժն ապահովում ենք անվասայլակով, իսկ նա երազում է քայլել։ Պրոթեզը որոշակի կհեշտացնի թե՛ իմ աշխատանքը և թե՛ ամուսնուս քայլելու երազանքը կիրականացնի»,-նշեց կինը։

Աշոտ Բեգլարյանը ՊԲ պայմանագրային զինծառայող էր Արցախում։ Մասնակցել է պաշտպանության մարտերին։ Կինն ասում է՝ հրաշքով է փրկվել ռազմական գործողությունների արհավիրքից, սակայն, սեպտեմբերի 25-ին դարձել է վառելիքի պահեստի պայթյունի վիրավոր։ Ոտքն ամպուտացրել են, ձեռքի մատները հեռացրել։

«Մի ամբողջ տարի մանկահասակ երեխայիս հետ մեր երթուղին նույնն էր՝ տուն-հիվանդանոց-տուն։ Հավատում էինք, որ ամեն բան կավարտվի, անգամ հիշողությունները կմնան անցյալում։ Եվ այո՛, բժիշկներին հաջողվեց փրկել ամուսնուս կյանքը, հիմա մենք գտնվում ենք ամենավճռական փուլում։ Մնում է քայլել։ Տրամադրված պրոթեզով դա հնարավոր չէ, քանի որ ոտքն ազդրից են հեռացրել»։ 
Մելանյայի խոսքով՝ աշխարհը մեխանիկական պրոթեզների թանկարժեք առաջարկներ ունի, սակայն, իր ընտանիքը դրա հնարավորությունը չունի։
