ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը նամակ է հղել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին: Նամակում, մասնավորապես, նշված է.

«Հարգելի պարոն վարչապետ,

Ուրախ եմ տեսնել, որ Ձեր երկիրը և Ադրբեջանը կայուն առաջընթաց են գրանցել խաղաղության համաձայնագիրը վերջնական տեսքի բերելու ուղղությամբ, որը կկարգավորի ձեր երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունները:

Ես ուզում եմ Ձեզ վստահեցնել, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները պատրաստ են աջակցել կայուն և արժանապատիվ խաղաղության համաձայնագրին, որը վերջնականապես վերջ կդնի դարավոր հակամարտությանը։ Խաղաղության համաձայնագիրը, որը երաշխավորում է Հայաստանի միասնությունը, ինքնիշխանությունը և տարածքային ամբողջականությունը, ապահովություն և կայունություն կապահովի ոչ միայն հայ ժողովրդի համար: Այն կվերափոխի ողջ Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանը։

Ինչպես գիտեք, խաղաղության համաձայնագրի մնացած հոդվածների վերջնականացումը կպահանջի համառություն, հնարամտություն և փոխզիջում: Բայց հայրենասիրությունը քաղաքականությունից վեր դասելով՝ Դուք խիզախորեն և հետևողականորեն ընտրել եք խաղաղության ուղին, և ես Ձեզ քաջալերում եմ այս տարի վերջնական տեսքի բերել պայմանագիրը։

Իմ վարչակազմը պատրաստ է ձեռնարկել համարձակ նախաձեռնություններ, որոնք կօգնեն հարթել ճանապարհը դեպի խաղաղություն: Ես խնդրել եմ Եվրոպայի գծով գլխավոր տնօրեն Մայքլ Քարփենթերին տեղեկացնել Ձեզ որոշ քայլերի մասին, որոնք մենք կուզենայինք ձեռնարկել և ստանալ Ձեր կարծիքն Ադրբեջանի հետ քննարկումների վերաբերյալ:

Ինչպես անցյալ ամիս Նյու Յորքում ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր վեհաժողովում հիշատակվեց, այժմ եկել է պահը վերահաստատելու հանձնառությունը Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպության կանոնադրությանը և խաղաղության հիմնարար սկզբունքներին: Ավելի պայծառ ապագան հասանելի է, և ես անհամբեր սպասում եմ Ձեզ հետ աշխատանքին՝ այն բաց չթողնելու համար»:
