Ոչ մի գեղեցիկ խոսք չի կարող թաքցնել այն փաստը, որ կլիմայական այս տարվա գլխավոր գագաթնաժողովը կազմակերպվում է մի երկրում, որտեղ ժողովրդավարության և մարդու իրավունքների առումով թերություններն ակնհայտ են։ Ինչպես հայտնում է Dialogorg.ru-ն, դրա մասին Altinget պարբերականի իր հոդվածում գրել է ցեղասպանագետ, Շվեդիայի Լունդի համալսարանի՝ Մերձավոր Արևելքի հեռանկարային հետազոտությունների կենտրոնի գիտաշխատող Սվանտե Լունդգրենը։
«Ադրբեջանն այժմ համարվում է Եվրոպայի ամենավտորիտար երկիրը՝ ավելի վատը, քան Ռուսաստանը և Բելառուսը։ Freedom House-ի վերջին Ազատության համաշխարհային ինդեքսում երկիրը 100-ից 7 միավոր է հավաքել՝ մեկ կետով ավելի, քան թալիբների գլխավորած Աֆղանստանը: «Լրագրողներ առանց սահմանների» կազմակերպության կազմած մամուլի ազատության համաշխարհային վերջին ինդեքսում Ադրբեջանը 180 երկրների մեջ 164-րդն է։ Վերջին տարիներին մենք Ադրբեջանում անկախ լրագրողների և ընդդիմադիրների նկատմամբ բռնաճնշումների աճ ենք նկատում։
Ստոկհոլմում Ադրբեջանի դեսպան Զաուր Ախմեդովը Բաքվում անցկացվելիք կլիմայական հանդիպումը կօգտագործի՝ գնահատելու համար իր երկրի նվիրվածությունը խաղաղությանը և կլիմայի փոփոխության դեմ պայքարի ջանքերը: Նա հայտարարում է, որ Հայաստանն աջակցել է հանդիպումն անցկացնելու Ադրբեջանի խնդրանքին՝ չնշելով պայմանները։ Բայց Հայաստանը դա արեց՝ ազատելու համար 32 ռազմագերիներին, որոնք ի հեճուկս զինադադարի համաձայնագրի՝ պահվում էին բանտում, կոչ անելով ազատ արձակել նրանց: Ռազմագերիների օգտագործումը որպես ապրանք ակնհայտորեն հակասում է միջազգային իրավունքին:
Եվրախորհրդարանն անդամ երկրներից պահանջել է պատժամիջոցներ կիրառել Ադրբեջանի դեմ՝ 2023 թվականին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հայերի էթնիկ զտումների և ներքին այլախոհների նկատմամբ վերաբերմունքի առնչությամբ:
Այս տարվա հունվարին Եվրախորհրդի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովը որոշել էր զրկել Ադրբեջանին վեհաժողովում ձայնի իրավունքից այս տարվա համար, քանի որ երկիրը չի կատարել անդամակցության իր պարտավորությունները։
Ոչ մի գեղեցիկ խոսք չի կարող թաքցնել այն փաստը, որ կլիմայական այս տարվա գլխավոր գագաթնաժողովը կազմակերպվում է մի երկրում, որտեղ ժողովրդավարության և մարդու իրավունքների առումով թերություններն ակնհայտ են։ Նրանք անհետանում են ոչ թե կանաչապատման և խաղաղության և կլիմայի մասին մոդայիկ խոսակցությունների պատճառով, այլ այն միջոցների պատճառով, որոնք այժմ ակնհայտորեն բացակայում են»,- նշել է շվեդ փորձագետը։
