Միջազգային հանրությունը պետք է խուսափի Ադրբեջանում կայանալիք COP29 կլիմայական գագաթնաժողովից, եթե միջոցառմանը մասնակցի Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը, POLITICO-ին ասել է ԵՄ-ում Ուկրաինայի դեսպան Վսեվոլոդ Չենցովը:

«Մենք պետք է գործադրենք այդ ճնշումը, և մեր գործընկերները պետք է հասկացնեն Ադրբեջանին, որ եթե Պուտինը այնտեղ է, ապա նրանք չեն գա»,- հարցազրույցում ասել է դիվանագետը:

Չենցովի կոչը հնչել է այն բանից հետո, երբ Կրեմլը երեքշաբթի հայտարարել է, որ Պուտինը դիտարկում է ՄԱԿ-ի աջակցությամբ կազմակերպվող ամենամյա կլիմայական հավաքին մասնակցելու հնարավորությունը: Նաև հաղորդվել էր, որ Պուտինի մասնակցության վերաբերյալ դեռևս որոշում չի կայացվել:

Պուտինը, Արևմուտքի հետ խիստ լարված հարաբերությունների ֆոնին, վերջին տարիներին կրճատել է միջազգային ճամփորդությունները, իսկՄիջազգային քրեական դատարանի կողմից ռազմական հանցագործությունների մեղադրանքների համար արձակված կալանավորման հրամանագիրը էլ ավելի է սահմանափակում ՌԴ նախագահի՝ օտարերկրյա ուղևորությունների շրջանակը:

Ադրբեջանը, սակայն, ՄՔԴ-ի անդամ չէ, այսինքն՝ պարտավոր չէ կալանավորել Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարին, երբ նա վայրէջք կատարի իր տարածքում: 

Չենցովն ընդգծել է, որ կալանավորման հրամանը պետք է բավարար լինի մեծ միջոցառմանը Պուտինի ներկայությունը խափանելու համար։
