Հայկական երաժշտական գործիքներից ամենահայտնին թերևս դուդուկն է, իսկ ամենահայտնի դուդուկահարը՝ Ջիվան Գասպարյանը, ով անգամ միջազգային մակարդակով գործունեություն է ծավալել։

Այսօր Ջիվան Գասպարյանի ծննդյան օրն է։ Նա կդառնար 96 տարեկան:

ArmLur.am-ը ներկայացնում է դուդուկահարի կյանքից հետաքրքիր պատմություններ։

Պատմություններից մեկը, որ հաճախ պատմում են նրա մասին, կապված է 1968 թվականին Մոնրեալի միջազգային երաժշտական փառատոնում նրա ելույթի հետ։ Գասպարյանը դեռ համաշխարհային ճանաչում չուներ, սակայն իր դուդուկի ձայնով կարողացավ հիացնել ունկնդիրներին։ Մեկը պատմում է, որ, երբ նա սկսեց նվագել, սրահում քար լռություն էր տիրում և հանկարծ մարդիկ սկսեցին արտասվել նրա հուզիչ երաժշտությունից։ Ելույթից հետո կազմակերպիչները մոտեցել են նրան և առաջարկել ձայնագրել նրա կատարումը և այդպես Ջիվան Գասպարյանը առաջին անգամ ստացավ միջազգային ուշադրություն։

Այս ամենը մեծ ազդեցություն ունեցավ նրա կարիերայի վրա և հենց այդ ժամանակվանից սկսվեց նրա համաշխարհային շրջագայությունների ու համագործակցությունների շարքը՝ ներառյալ աշխատանքի հետագա տարիները Փիթեր Գաբրիելի և այլ հանրաճանաչ արտիստների հետ։

Գասպարյանը նաև կրում էր «դուդուկի պատրիարք» կոչումը՝ իր անգնահատելի ավանդի համար հայկական երաժշտության պահպանման և տարածման գործում։

Ջիվան Գասպարյանի կյանքի ևս մեկ ուշագրավ պատմություն վերաբերում է նրա աշխատանքի ընթացքում Հոլիվուդի կինոարդյունաբերության հետ։ Նրա դուդուկի կախարդական հնչյունները հաճախ օգտագործվել են հայտնի ֆիլմերում՝ դարձնելով հայ երաժշտությունը ճանաչելի ողջ աշխարհում։

Եւվս մեկ դեպք, որը հետաքրքիր է, կապված է «Gladiator» ֆիլմի հետ։ Ռիդլի Սքոթը, ով այդ ֆիլմի ռեժիսորն էր, ցանկանում էր ֆիլմի սաունդթրեքում յուրահատուկ հնչողություն ունենալ, որն արտահայտեր հերոսական և հուզական պահերը։ Այդ ժամանակ Հանս Զիմերը, ով ֆիլմի կոմպոզիտորն էր, խորհուրդ տվեց փորձել Ջիվան Գասպարյանի դուդուկի հնչյունները։ Գասպարյանը հրավիրվեց մասնակցելու ձայնագրությանը և հենց նրա դուդուկի խաղն է ստեղծել ֆիլմի յուրահատուկ և հուզական մթնոլորտը, որը միլիոնավոր մարդկանց սրտերին է հասել։

Պատմում են, որ Սքոթը հուզվել է, երբ լսել է Գասպարյանի դուդուկի ձայնը: Նա ասել է, որ այն կարծես մարդկային ձայն լիներ, որը խոսում է տառապանքի, հույսի և գեղեցկության մասին։ Սա դարձավ գլխավոր թեման ֆիլմի մի շարք կարևոր տեսարանների համար։ Այդ համագործակցությունը ոչ միայն բարձրացրեց ֆիլմի երաժշտության մակարդակը, այլև ճանաչելի դարձրեց հայկական դուդուկի յուրահատուկ հնչողությունը՝ աշխարհով մեկ տարածելով հայկական մշակութային գանձը։

Ջիվան Գասպարյանն այս աշխատանքով ներգրավված էր նաև այլ հայտնի ֆիլմերում ինչպիսիք են՝ «The Last Temptation of Christ», «Blood Diamond» և «Syriana»։
