Իշխանական մի քանի պատգամավորների ինքնաբացարկից, ՔՊ նիստում Արփի Դավոյանի նվաստացումից հետո «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիրը» կրկին նախարարի տենդագին փնտրտուքների մեջ է։ Թեկնածուների բացակայության պայմաններում ՔՊ-ում այլ մարդիկ էլ նախարար դառնալու բուռն ախորժակ են ցուցաբերում։ Մասնավորապես, նախարար դառնալու ցանկություն ունի Փաշինյանի մամուլի քարտուղար Նազելի Բաղդասարյանը։ Վերջինս իշխանական որոշ շրջանակների մոտ հայտարարել է, թե իրավաբանի որակավորում ունի։ Բաղդասարյանը 2005 թվականին ավարտել է Մոսկվայի ձեռներեցության միջազգային ակադեմիայի իրավագիտության ֆակուլտետը, իսկ 2017 թվականին ստացել է Կիևի ժողովրդավարության և իրավունքի գերակայության ինստիտուտի մեդիաիրավագետի որակավորում։

ՔՊ-ում դեմ են Նազելի Բաղդասարյանի թեկնածությանը, կարծում են՝ «կոոպերատիվ» բուհ ավարտածը չի կարողանա նախարարություն կառավարել, առավել ևս, որ «բարեհաջող» ձախողել է մի մարզի կառավարումը։

Նախարար դառնալու ցանկություն ունի պատգամավոր Արմեն Խաչատրյանը, որի առնչությունն իրավաբանությանը եղել է ՆԳՆ բարձրագույն դպրոցն ավարտելն ու երկար տարիներ ոստիկան աշխատելը։ Խաչատրյանի համար լոբբինգ անում է ԱԺ Պաշտպանության և անվտանգության հարցերի հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանը։

Այդուհանդերձ, ՔՊ-ում վստահ են, որ Փաշինյանը մերժելու է երկուսի թեկնածությունը, վերջին պահին սեփական թեկնածուին առաջարկի։ Ըստ ամենայնի, նախարարի պաշտոնում կնշանակեն փաստաբան Տիգրան Եգորյանին․ վերջինս սերտ կապեր ունի թե՛ ՔՊ-ի, թե՛ արևմտամետների հետ, նաև վայելում է արևմտյան կառույցների ու դեսպանատների հովանավորությունը։ Միակ «խոչընդոտը» Եգորյանի ՔՊ-ական չլինելու փաստն է, բայց դա էլ կարելի է «ուղղել»։
