Խորհրդարանական ընդդիմության առաջնորդ Ֆրիդրիխ Մերցը, որը ներկայացնում է ՔԴՄ-ն, մեղադրել է Գերմանիայի կառավարությանը «ցուցամոլության» համար։ Նրա խոսքով՝ իշխող կոալիցիան միայն համերաշխություն է հայտնում Իսրայելին, բայց միաժամանակ հրաժարվում է հրեական պետությանը մատակարարել անհրաժեշտ զենքը։
«Ի՞նչ արժեք ունեն Իսրայելի պետության և Իսրայելի ժողովրդի հետ համերաշխության ձեր հայտարարությունները», – խորհրդարանի ամբիոնից հարց է հղել Մերցը։
Այս մեղադրանքների ֆոնին կանցլեր Օլաֆ Շոլցը հստակեցրել է Գերմանիայի կառավարության դիրքորոշումը.«Մենք չենք որոշել հրաժարվել զենքի մատակարարումից։ Մենք զենք մատակարարել ենք և շարունակելու ենք մատակարարել։ Մենք կառավարությունում որոշումներ ենք ընդունել, որոնք նույնպես կապահովեն հետագա մատակարարումներն առաջիկայում»:
Սակայն, փաստացի, ինչպես նշում է Bild-ը, Գերմանիայի կառավարությունը այս տարվա մարտից Իսրայել զենք արտահանելու թույլտվություն չի տվել։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, էկոնոմիկայի նախարարությունը պատասխանել է Bild-ի հարցմանը՝ պնդելով, որ «Իսրայել զենքի արտահանման բոյկոտ չկա»։
Bild-ի աղբյուրները նշում են, որ Գերմանիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Աննալենա Բերբոքը և անվտանգության քաղաքականության հարցերով կանցլերի խորհրդական Յենս Պլյոթները դեմ են Իսրայելին զենք և զինամթերք մատակարարելուն։
