Մարդկային էության ներսում չարը չի կարող հաղթել բարուն․ մեծ մարդասեր Նանսենի ծննդյան օրն է

Այսօր նորվեգացի բևեռախույզ, օվկիանոսագետ, ֆիզիկական օվկիանոսագիտության հիմնադիր, մարդասեր և հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ, ի վերջո մեծ հայասեր Ֆրիտյոֆ Նանսենի ծննդյան օրն է։
Նանսենին ծնեց Նորվեգիան, բայց կորցրեց աշխարհը։ Իր մեծ մարդասիրության համար 1922 թ-ին Նանսենին շնորհվել է Նոբելյան մրցանակ։
«Մարդկային էության ներսում չարը չի կարող հաղթել բարուն: Կա՞ արդյոք ավելի մեծ առաքելություն, քան հավատը փրկելը, հավատը մարդու նկատմամբ, հավատը ոչ միայն սեփական ապագայի, այլև ողջ մարդկության»,- վստահ էր Նանսենը:
Նանսենը խորությամբ ուսումնասիրել և բարձրաձայնել է մեր դարավոր պատմության ողբերգական իրադարձություններով էջերը, սատար և պաշտպան կանգնել հայ գաղթականներին։ Հայերի շահերի պաշտպանն արդեն ուներ իր հաստատ համոզմունքներն ու հիասթափությունները եվրոպական քաղաքագետների վարած քաղաքականությունից։ Հայության իրավունքների պաշտպանության համար նա տարբեր միջոցների էր դիմում, իսկ ժողովրդին խորհուրդ տալիս հույսը դնել սեփական կարողությունների վրա։ Լինելով փոքրաթիվ ազգի ներկայացուցիչ` նա պատկերացնում էր այդպիսի ժողովուրդների հանդեպ հզոր պետությունների գայլային ախորժակի բռնկումների անխուսափելիությունը։
Նա գրում է. «Պատմությունը ապացուցում է, որ փոքր ազգերը մարդկությանը տալիս են մեծագույն արժեքներ։ Սակայն երբ մեծ ազգերը փոքրերի վրա իրենց իրավունքները հաստատում են բռնությամբ, նրանց հետաքրքրում է ոչ թե որակը, այլ քանակը։ Նրանց համար կարևոր չէ, թե որտեղ են մարդիկ լավ ապրում, այլ թե որտեղ են նրանք ավելի շատ»։
Վրդովված միջազգային հանրության անտարբերությունից՝ Նանսենը անձամբ կազմակերպեց օգնությունը հայ ժողովրդին: Նա նպատակ ուներ մեղմել փախստականների խնդիրները զարգացման իր անձնական նախաձեռնությունների միջոցով: Այդպիսի փորձ էր Հայաստանի գյուղատնտեսությանն ու սոցիալական զարգացմանն ուղղված օգնությունը`Հայաստանում ստեղծելու ծավալուն ոռոգման համակարգ: Լինելով ականատեսը 1925 թ-ին Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցող ավերածություններին, Նանսենը հետագայում գրեց ազդեցիկ մի գիրք` «Հայաստանը և Մերձավոր Արեւելքը», ինչպես նաևՀայ Դատը քարոզող բազմաթիվ հոդվածներ ու ելույթներ:
Նանսենը հույս էր ներշնչում անհապաղ օգնության կարիք ունեցող հազարավոր հայերի: Նա ներդրեց իր ողջ եռանդն ու ջանքերը հայ ժողովրդին օգնելու գործին` հասցնելով իրեն ֆիզիկական հյուծման: 1930 թվականին նա ունեցավ սրտի կաթված:
1930 թ. մայիսի 13. դադարում է բաբախել վերջին երկու տարիներին ցավերից տառապող մեծ մարդասերի սիրտը: Վերջապես խաղաղվում է նրա անհանգիստ հոգին: Համաձայն սեփական կտակի՝ նրա մարմինը դիակիզվում է: Դստեր պատմածով՝ այդ պահին չի ասվում ոչ մի խոսք, միայն նվագախումբը հնչեցնում է Շուբերտի «Մահը եւ աղջիկը»: Գիտնականի՝ մասունք դարձած մոխիրը թաղվում է Պուլհյոգդայի բարձրուղեշ ծառերից մեկի հովանու տակ…
