Ջենիֆեր Լոպեսն առաջին անգամ խոսել է Բեն Աֆլեքի հետ ընդամենը երկու տարվա ամուսնությունից հետո իրենց ամուսնալուծության և 2004 թվականին առաջին բաժանումից հետո հարաբերությունները վերականգնելու իրենց երկրորդ փորձի մասին:
55-ամյա երգչուհին, ով սեքսուալ ընձառյուծի նախշազարդ հանդերձանքով կեցվածք է ընդունել Interview հանդեսի շապիկի համար, պատմել է, թե ինչպես է այս տարի իր կյանքը «պայթել» իր աչքի առաջ և խոսել կյանքի դասերի մասին, որոնք ինքը դեռ պետք է սովորի, թեև ջանացել է Բենի անունը չհիշատակել։
«Դա շատ դժվար էր»,-խոստովանել է Ջեյ Լոն: «Միայնության, վախի, տխրության, հուսահատության զգացումներ: Բայց երբ մտածում ես դրա մասին, հասկանում ես, որ «այդ բաներն ինձ չեն սպանի»... Հարաբերություններն ինձ չեն բնորոշում։ Ես չեմ կարող երջանկություն փնտրել այլ մարդկանց մեջ: Ես պետք է երջանկություն ունենամ հոգուս խորքում: Մի ժամանակ ասում էի, որ երջանիկ մարդ եմ, բայց դեռ ինչ-որ բան էի փնտրում, ինչ-որ մեկին, որը կկարողանար լրացնել ինձ։
Այս ամառ ես ստիպված էի ասել. «Ես պետք է հեռանամ և մենակ մնամ: Ես ուզում եմ ինքս ինձ ապացուցել, որ կարող եմ դա անել»,- ասել է նա՝ պնդելով, որ ոչ մի բանի համար չի զղջում:
«Գիտեմ, որ այն, ինչ գրվում ու ասվում է իմ մասին, և բոլոր հնարած բաները, թե ով եմ ես որպես մարդ, իրականում չեն բնորոշում ինձ: Ես դա վաղուց եմ հասկացել»,-ասել է Լոպեսը՝ հավելելով, որ սոցիալական ցանցերը լուրջ չի ընկալում։
«Ես գիտեմ, որ լավ մարդ եմ։ Գիտեմ, որ լավ մայր եմ։ Գիտեմ՝ ովքեր են ընկերներս։ Գիտեմ, որ ընկերներս գիտեն՝ ես ով եմ...»:
