Իրանը պատրաստ է ցանկացած սցենարի. այս մասին, Tasnim գործակալության փոխանցմամբ, ասել է ԱԳ նախարար Աբբաս Արաղչին:

«Մենք պատրաստ ենք ցանկացած սցենարի, թեև չենք ցանկանում պատերազմ կամ էսկալացիա։ Սակայն սիոնիստական ռեժիմը կարող է ստուգել մեր կամքը: Եթե մեզ վրա հարձակվեն, մենք ուշադիր կուսումնասիրենք այս հարձակումը և համապատասխան պատասխան կտանք։ Իսրայելը զանգվածային պատերազմ է փնտրում և ցանկանում է երկրներին ներքաշել այս պատերազմի մեջ», - ասել է Արաղչին:

Նա ընդգծել է, որ «Իրանը միակ երկիրը չէ, որը չի ցանկանում լայնածավալ պատերազմ, քանի որ բոլորին է հայտնի այս պատերազմի աղետալի բնույթը»։

Ըստ Արաղչիի՝ «դիմադրության առանցքը (լիբանանյան «Հեզբոլլահ», պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ, Եմենի հութի ապստամբներ, Իրանքի դիմադրության ուժեր-Խմբ.) վիճակի է պատասխանել Իսրայելին»:

«Մենք երբեք չենք դադարի աջակցել դիմադրությանը, և ես Բեյրութում հայտարարեցի, որ Իրանը չի հրաժարվի դիմադրությունից: Աջակցությունը չի սահմանափակվելու միայն քաղաքական և դիվանագիտական հարցերով, և մենք նրանց կտրամադրենք այն ամենը, ինչ անհրաժեշտ է», - ասել է Արաղչին:

Դիվանագետը հավելել է, որ Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուն Գազայի պատերազմում չի հասել իր նպատակին, որը ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի ոչնչացումն էր, և նույն իրավիճակին կբախվի Լիբանանում։
