ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի անդամ Բրեդ Շերմանը և կոնգրեսական, հետախուզության հարցերով կոմիտեի անդամ Ադամ Շիֆը կոչ են արել ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերիին հստակ դիրքորոշում ցուցաբերել ընդդեմ ԵԽԽՎ-ում ձախողված հակաղարաբաղյան բանաձևերի: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկ ացրին Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախմբից:

Քերիին ուղղված նամակում Շիֆը հորդորել է պետքարտուղարին «բարձրագույն մակարդակներում հստակորեն ի ցույց դնել այն, որ բանաձևը միակողմանի է, ոչ ճշգրիտ և վնասում է խնդրի խաղաղությանն ու կայունությանը»: Հիշեցնելով, որ Ադրբեջանը բազմաթիվ սադրիչ գործողություններ է իրականացրել շփման գծում, ինչն ավարտվել է քաղաքացիական անձանց մահվան կամ վիրավորվելու դեպքերով` ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականը մտահոգություն է հայտնել, որ զեկույցում չի ներառվել այն, որ Իլհամ Ալիևը «հրաժարվում է շփման գծում տեղադրել հատուկ տեխնոլոգիաներ, որոնք մոնիթորինգի կենթարկեն դ իպուկահարների և հրետանու կիրառումը», մինչդեռ հայկական կողմն իր համաձայնությունը տվել է:

ԱՄՆ մյուս կոնգրեսական Շերմանը կոչ է արել պետքարտուղարին անմիջապես գործողությունների անցնել` ցույց տալու ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման բանակցային գործընթացում ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի առաջատար դերը: «Մինսկի խմբից հրաժարվելը ոչ միայն վատ քաղաքականություն է, այլ վիրավորանք ամերիկյան ժողովրդի և ջանասեր ու ամերիկացի դիվանագետների նկատմամբ»,- նշել է նա:

Եվրոպայի խորհրդի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի հունվարի 26-ի նիստում բրիտանացի պատգամավոր Ռոբերտ Ուոլթերի հեղինակած «Բռնությունների աճը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում և Ադրբեջանի մյուս գրավյալ տարածքներում» զեկույցի ընդունումը ձախողվեց 66 կողմ և 70 դեմ ձայների հարաբերակցությամբ։ Մինչդեռ բոսնիացի պատվիրակ Միլիցա Մարկովիչի «Ադրբեջանի սահմանամերձ շրջանների բնակիչները միտումնավոր զրկված են ջրից» վերտառությամբ զեկույցը 98 կողմ, 71 դեմ հարաբերակցությամբ ընդունվեց։
