Օրերս Շվեյցարիայում կայացած հանդիպման ընթացքում, որին մասնակցել են ՈՒԵՖԱ-ի անդամ երկրների ֆուտբոլային գերատեսչությունների նախագահներ եւ գործադիր տնօրեններ, ի թիվս այլ հարցերի, լսվել եւ քննարկվել է ՖԻՖԱ-ի նախագահի կայանալիք ընտրություններում թեկնածու առաջադրված ՈՒԵՖԱ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ջիանի Ինֆանտինոյի ընտրական ծրագիրը՝ «Մանիֆեստը»:
Ինչպես հայտնում է Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի մամլո ծառայությունը, ՀՖՖ նախագահ Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանը Ինֆանտինոյի ընտրական ծրագիրը ներկայացրել է ֆեդերացիայի գործադիր կոմիտեին եւ վերջինս որոշում է կայացրել ՖԻՖԱ-ի նախագահի ընտրություններում պաշտպանել հենց Ինֆանտինոյի թեկնածությունը: Ըստ ՀՖՖ չինովնիկների՝ «Մանիֆեստը» նոր մտածողությամբ եւ աշխարընկալման նոր մոտեցումներ ընդգրկող ճանապարհային յուրօրինակ քարտեզ է, որն ուրվագծում է համաշխարհային ֆուտբոլի բոլոր հնարավոր տեսլականները:
Նշենք, որ Ջիանի Ինֆանտինոն ֆուտբոլային աշխարհի վառ կերպարներից է: Նա ծնվել է Շվեյցարիայում, ունի իտալական ծագում: ՈւԵՖԱ-ում Ինֆանտինոն աշխատում է 2000 թվականից: Նրա իրավասություններում են իրավաբանական եւ կոմերցիոն հարցերը, ինչպես նաեւ պրոֆեսիոնալ ֆուտբոլի խնդիրները: ՖԻՖԱ-ի նախագահի ընտրություններում աաջադրվել է հինգ թեկնածու՝ Ֆուտբոլի Ասիական կոնֆեդերացիայի ղեկավար շեյխ Սալման բին Իբրահիմ ալ-Խալիֆան, Ջիանի Ինֆանտինոն, Հորդանանի արքայազն Ալի բին ալ-Հուսեյնը, Հարավաֆրիկյան Հանրապետության բնակշինարարության նախկին նախարար եւ Նելսոն Մանդելայի թիմակից Տոկիո Սեկսվալեն, ՖԻՖԱ-ի գլխավոր քարտողարի նախկին տեղակալ Ժերոմ Շամպանը: Ընտրությունները կանցկացվեն գաղտնի քվեարկությամբ: Առաջին փուլում հաղթելու համար թեկնածուների որեւէ մեկին անհրաժեշտ կլինի ստանալ ձայների երկու երրորդը, իսկ հետագա փուլերում՝ 50 տոկոս գումարած մեկ ձայն: ՖԻՖԱ-ի նախագահն ընտրվում է 4 տարով:
