Լեհաստանի ԶՈւ գլխավոր շտաբի պետը հայտարարել է բանակի ավելացման անհրաժեշտության մասին

Լեհաստանին շատ ավելի մեծ բանակ է հարկավոր, ինչին դժվար կլինի հասնել՝ հաշվի առնելով իր ծերացող բնակչությունը, եթե նա ցանկանում է պաշտպանվել պատերազմից, որին այս սերունդը, թվում է, անկասկած, կբախվի, ասել է երկրի զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի պետ, գեներալ Վիսլավ Կուկուլան, հաղորդում է RAP-ը։
«Ամեն ինչ խոսում է այն մասին, որ մենք այն սերունդն ենք, որը ոտքի է կանգնելու մեր երկիրը պաշտպանելու համար։ Եվ ոչ ես, ոչ էլ ձեզանից որևէ մեկը մտադիր չէ պարտվել այս պատերազմում։ Մենք կհաղթենք, կվերադառնանք ու կշարունակենք կառուցել Լեհաստանը, բայց ինչ-որ բան պետք է տեղի ունենա։ Մենք պետք է ստեղծենք զինված ուժեր, որոնք պատրաստված են նման գործողությունների համար», - ուրբաթ օրը Վրոցլավի բանակային համալսարանի ռազմական ակադեմիայում ասել է Կուկուլան:
Լեհ գեներալի խոսքով՝ ժողովրդագրական ճգնաժամը կդանդաղեցնի համալրման տեմպերը։
«Հակառակորդի ներուժն այնքան մեծ է, որ մենք պետք է շատ ավելի մեծ բանակ ստեղծենք, ինչը նշանակում է, որ մենք պետք է իրականացնենք նաև ընդհանուր ծառայության մոդել», - մեջբերում է գործակալությունը Կուկուլուի խոսքերը:
Ընդհանուր ծառայությունը վերաբերում է պարտադիր զինվորական պատրաստությանը և ծառայությանը, որը ներկայումս չի կիրառվում:
Լեհաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարության տվյալներով՝ մինչև տարեվերջ լեհական բանակը կունենա ավելի քան 207500 զինվոր, ինչը կդառնա ՆԱՏՕ-ի երրորդ ամենամեծ բանակը ԱՄՆ-ից և Թուրքիայից հետո:
Հուլիսին Կուկուլան ասել էր, որ Լեհաստանը պետք է պատրաստի իր զորքերը լայնամասշտաբ հակամարտության: Լեհաստանի հարաբերությունները Ռուսաստանի և նրա դաշնակից Բելառուսի հետ կտրուկ վատթարացել են Ուկրաինայում պատերազմի սկսվելուց հետո։
