Շվեյցարիան և Իտալիան վերանայել են իրենց ալպյան սահմանը՝ սառցադաշտերի հալքի պատճառով: Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է Հիդրոօդերևութաբանության և մոնիթորինգի կենտրոնի տնօրեն Լևոն Ազիզյանը։
«Փոփոխությունները ազդել են Եվրոպայի ամենաբարձր գագաթներից մեկի՝ Մաթերհորն լեռան շրջակայքի վրա, որը գտնվում է Շվեյցարիայի Ցերմատ շրջանի և իտալական Վալե դ’Աոստա շրջանի սահմանին։
Մինչ ազգային սահմանները համարվում են ֆիքսված, շվեյցարա-իտալական սահմանի մեծ հատվածները նշված են սառցադաշտերով և ձյան դաշտերով: Սառցադաշտերի հալքով, այս բնական տարրերը բնաշրջվում են և վերասահմանում ազգային սահմանը, հայտնում է Շվեյցարիայի կառավարությունը: Սահմանային փոփոխությունները համաձայնեցվել են դեռ 2023 թվականին, և Շվեյցարիայի կառավարությունը պաշտոնապես հաստատել է դրանք այս ամիս: Իտալիայում հաստատման գործընթացը դեռևս շարունակվում է։
Սահմանի վերանայումն ազդել է հանրաճանաչ լեռնադահուկային հանգստավայր Ցերմաթի վրա, որը գտնվում է Մաթերհորն լեռան ստորոտին: Զբոսաշրջիկները և դահուկորդները դեռևս կարող են ազատորեն հատել Շվեյցարիայի և Իտալիայի սահմանը, սակայն սահմանն ինքնին փոխվել է Տեստա Գրիջիա, Ռոզա սարահարթի և Գոբբա դի Ռոլեն լեռների մոտ՝ երկու երկրների տնտեսական շահերին համապատասխան։
Շվեյցարական սառցադաշտերը շարունակում են արագ հալվել։ 2023 թվականին նրանք կորցրել են 4% ծավալը, հայտնում է The Guardian-ը։ 2022 թվականին դրանք նվազել են 6%-ով։ Գիտնականները դադարեցրել են չափել շվեյցարական որոշ գագաթների սառույցի չափերը, քանի որ այնտեղ ընդհանրապես սառույց չի մնացել:
Եվրոպական սառցադաշտերն ավելի արագ են հալվում, քան մյուս մայրցամաքներում: Ըստ Copernicus-ի՝ վերջին երկու տարվա ընթացքում դրանք կրճատվել են 10%-ով, իսկ մինչև 2050 թվականը սառցե ծածկույթը կկրճատվի կիսով չափ, նույնիսկ եթե տաքացումը չգերազանցի 2°-ը»։
