Начальник международного военного штаба НАТО посетил мемориальный комплекс Геноцида армян

Делегация во главе с начальником международного военного штаба НАТО Януш Адамчака, прибывшая с рабочим визитом в Армению, 3 октября посетила мемориальный комплекс Геноцида армян.

Гостей встретила заместитель директора Музея-института Геноцида армян по музейным работам Лусине Абрамян. Она сопровождала гостей по мемориальному комплексу, рассказав об истории его создания.

Замдиректора музея-института также коснулась истории появления трех хачкаров на территории Цицернакаберда в память об армянах, ставших жертвами организованных властями Азербайджана погромов в конце прошлого года в азербайджанских городах Сумгаит, Кировабад (Гандзак), Баку, а также рассказала о пяти борцах за свободу, захороненных у Стены памяти в года Арцахской освободительной борьбы, указав на связь произошедшего с Геноцидом армян.

Высокопоставленные военнослужащие возложили цветы к вечному огню и минутой молчания почтили память невинных жертв Геноцида армян. Члены делегации ознакомились с музеем Геноцида армян, ознакомились с постоянными и временными экспозициями, после чего руководитель делегации оставил запись в журнале почетных гостей.

Поблагодарив за визит, заместитель директора музея подарила Янушу Адамчаку книги о Геноциде армян.
